Someone said Mark's manager 'shut that down' so that's why speculating still.  It does not sound like Travis at all to me but I've never heard him sing.

They were referring to his manager shutting down talks of this being the farewell album. Come on though, you were suggesting it was Landon Barker but can’t fathom Travis might sound even a smidge like his own son? Lol

I've never heard Travis sing!  He just started speaking like these last 2 years.  But that's why I thought it might be Landon.  If it is I will be the one laughing come Thursday!!

I am cautiously excited but not quite as emotional as the rest of you, not sure why, honestly this should have me bawling.

I have bought the cassette because of bantz, I am excited by some clips but Anthem Part 3 the drums were so fucking loud it was hard to tell, but I am hoping / guessing it’s a lower quality/demo quality copy of the audio.

Not sure about the other main clips. I’ll listen when it’s out. Tom sounding good though.

Some very Cali sounding moments so far though - just what they’re doing now I guess.

Not interested in shitting on anyones parade, I am overjoyed that they’re in this place again. All I wanted was them happy and together again.

Press Release:

blink-182 return with their anxiously awaited new album, ONE MORE TIME…, on October 20 via Columbia Records. Pre-order/Pre-save ONE MORE TIME…HERE. It marks the first album to feature the group’s iconic lineup, Mark Hoppus [bass, vocals], Tom DeLonge [guitar, vocals], and Travis Barker [drums], since 2011.

Launching with the album news, the band shared a sentimental trailer for ONE MORE TIME… - watch HERE. Featuring strikingly candid interview footage pulled from the band’s forthcoming extensive interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe as well as current and archival clips, the trailer finds Mark, Tom and Travis baring it all as they discuss topics they have never shared before. The trailer teases three new songs including the title track “ONE MORE TIME,” which drops on Thursday, September 21 alongside an official video. The full Zane Lowe interview will be available to watch exclusively on Apple Music soon.

Pre-save “ONE MORE TIME” HERE.

The trio recorded ONE MORE TIME... in the midst of their blockbuster reunion tour, which sold out arenas, amphitheaters, and stadiums across the world. The album, produced by Travis Barker, features 17 new songs that capture the band at the top of their game, layering in themes of tragedy, triumph, and most importantly, brotherhood.

The brand-new album comes both digitally and physically on CD, standard black vinyl, and multiple limited edition physical vinyl variants including purple ooze D2C exclusive LP, red and clear marble colored D2C exclusive LP, and egg splatter colored D2C exclusive LP. Additional offerings on vinyl include the coke bottle clear colored indie exclusive LP, opaque white colored Amazon exclusive LP and electric smoke colored Spotify Fans First exclusive LP. The artist store will have a limited-edition cassette available.

blink-182 jump started this season back in April with a surprise last-minute headline set at Coachella. You could say a blink-aissance of sorts has ensued since then! Variety raved, “blink-182 brings rock back to Coachella in a big way,” and Rolling Stone attested, “blink-182 took us back to high school during throwback performance at Coachella.” Meanwhile, the 2022 reunion single “EDGING” has amassed over 70 million Spotify streams and counting.

Kind of sad to hear that Tom had decided he was done with music. I saw AVA right before the pandemic started and Tom seemed so happy and excited to finally be back on tour again. I guess the pandemic interrupted his “comeback” and really took the wind out of his sails. Glad he seems happy to play again.

some of the song clips sound so fucking good too. anthem part 3 -- i wasn't originally fond of the staccato opening being re-done, but the chorus that's previewed makes it more than worth it. it's something i can hear myself belting out in the car for the rest of my life.

some other notes on songs: you don't know what you got sounds a lot like happy days, and the pre-chorus bit (i can't make out the words to it) sounds a lot like "on my phone, here we go" from his oliver tree collab, which itself is a complete rip from brain stew by green day. but still! all of the songs sound unreal good.

It seems like the idea is "let's try this reunion thing one more time and get it right this time"

I was worried for awhile

If I’m being honest, it makes me nervous hearing Tom say we’re not gonna fuck this up again. Guess that’s me just being cynical.

That’s just Tom toime his ordering of events are never to be trusted. He’s definitely referencing 2015 to 2019 as the period he thought he’d never play music / tour again. Got back on the horse with Ava and Lifeforms and then wanted to go do blink too once that was done

Yeah I always think back to that interview he did with NME where he said he was listening to a lot of punk and he's now itching to make anthemic pop punk again.

Fucking goosebumps. Wow.

Really, really, really grateful and happy to watch this all take place.

If you would have told me in 2005, 2010, 2015 this is where we'd be sitting right now, I would have called you bat-shit crazy. But this band man. My goodness.

One other side-note, and one of my favourite things about blink, they do not miss on openers. It looks like this is going to be no exception.

Anthem Pt 3 is going to fucking rip. But also, it leads into Dance With Me and based on that clip, sheeeesh.

I'm not sure I'll be able to hold up.
