I don’t think Davey was ever arrogant. I think his sense of humor flew over a lot of heads and inadvertently rubbed people the wrong way. He was a cool chill guy who liked reminiscing about happy memories, in front of an audience who wanted to hear his stories. Always got good vibes from him.

Davey's time on this site came to a natural conclusion i think. 

Even so, without this, he would never of got to where he is now on mark' discord, was cool to hear his insights into early blink but his views on anything past dude ranch was a bit grating tbh.

As for rybread he kinda lucked out with the covid lockdown, playing on streams with mark on the PlayStation was pretty cool and i can understand why he would want to leave here and stay permanently on the discord, they way he left was shitty tho, pretty sure his podcast was meant to be linked to this site, doesnt really matter tho i guess as he only gets less than 100 views.

Its still strange to go through all of that just for Mark to barely know who you even are.

I remember when Mark use to be part of the Blink collectors forum; there was Davey who followed the band since the start, been to countless shows, and was in the comments kissing Mark's butt and all Mark had for him was "Hey Davey".

i don't really know how you're expecting someone who's been a celebrity for 25 years to act. at some point if you're famous and people have approached you long enough, you can't be gobsmacked by every little thing... of course people like your work, that's why you're a multi-millionaire! what's he supposed to do? being humble and accepting a hypothetical compliment is a fine response, given how weird some fans can get (leo dehoe). it's why meet and greets became meet and creeps for them.

this seems like an imagined scenario too. mark's been nothing but nice to every fan, which is a lot to ask. imagine if you were having a horrible day and someone approached you asking for an autograph or wanting to take your picture, or staring at you. i'm sure it gets old. that type of thing is why i can't imagine being in the discord. i popped in for five seconds today and someone had drawn a fucking picture for mark. it's so weird.
