Saw a YouTube short of Alex on Stryker's podcast say its more likely than not that there will be more Simple Creatures in the future.

It's hard for me to enjoy Simple Creatures because I've had a hatred of All Time Low for so long. Alex's vocals trigger me instantly lol  That being said, NVM and Adrenaline are very good songs. Furthermore, I'm just glad Mark finally went ahead and did some form of side project instead of hoarding music ideas on his hard drive.

This is the way.  Except, fuck Transplants a bit.  They are okay, I'd definitely take some Tom/Ava over them.  

BCR is an easier listen, some better songs, but a bit redundant. +44 is just slightly higher quality piece start to finish.  Strip away all the effects/experimentation, and +44 is a better written album.

Cat Like Thief and Chapter 8 for me as top picks.

So many to choose from though.

Simple Creatures was a nice little time for Mark to do some non-Cali.  It had it's moments, the videos were pretty fun too, and just Mark stepping outside of his ultra comfort zone and doing what he wants to do is refreshing.

That said, there are some grating effects/vocals on both of them that simply induce a migraine.  I get that was part of the aesthetic, but damn.  Otherwise, they had some good melodies and parts.

Maybe I am just envious.  I don't have any blink fans to bump music to with.  It's almost always me having to force it upon a couple friends that will fake smile along with it and never offer to bump anything but Feeling This or play ATST at their wedding, which is a given now.
