These websites have weird politics uploaded to them (well one worse than the others (hence why I held off on suggesting)), but you could also try Bitchute, Rumble, or Odysee (Yeah, that's how it's spelled) to see if you can upload to them?

That's cool, but it removes the emotions of the song and just makes it a banger (which takes away from the original intention of the song).

It also doesn’t fit.

I don't get what the obsession is with trying to turn this balled (from the heart song from these three guys) into a commercialized rock song...

Sharing this in case anyone is curious (it does a better job that that Not Now remix), but it still removes the heart and feeling that the original song has and just makes it a generic rock song with sappy lyrics. No feeling to it whatsoever (compared to the original).

Stuff like this really does cement a lesson I learned a while ago that there is a time and place for certain things when it comes to the certain ways you want to express yourself... You're not going to put in imagery of lollipops, candy canes, and dancing laughing andromorphic rabbits if you're going for a sad downtrodden scene. As a punk band, it's okay to step away from the punk vibes if the song calls for it, and it's okay to do something slow or poppy.

This just reminds me back in the day when I was a huge Bowling For Soup fan and I disliked the song "When We Die" because it was a downer tune (video shared in spoiler tag if anyone is interested in seeing it) and I was just a kid that wanted some fun pop punk tunes.

Btw something I wanted to point out... not sure if the guitar is actually fully cleaned off now or what. However, it looks like in the music video it's in between these two pictures like all the mature drawings are gone, while everything else that could be seen by anyone is kept.

At least I thought this was an interesting observation from before the video came out (possibly during the time of the video shoot), and now that the video is out we see in the video that Tom still has some of that on his guitar still.

Tell me why I liked this lol.  It wasn't necessary but the guitar really comes in nice with the bells.

Also, shout out Bowling For Soup, 90s/early 2000s was just such a good time.

The fact people don't just sit at their booth like tables and get mad at their parents anymore because they just sit and ipad or tik tok peacefully kind of saddens me.

Friend of mine did a punky omt cover and uh… swing and a miss.

The reactions and covers online already are out of hand.  I'm syncing it all out until after October 20.  This is the first album in long, long time I want to enjoy like back when Untitled came out and just listen front to back, no distractions.

I've had so many people post this or share this video somewhere.. even people I never see post stuff.  The emotional wreckage is real.  Tom's voice returning to the 2003 days or w.e brings people back as well (Mark too, but he hasn't left)

Gonna repeat myself a bit here from a post I just made in the OMT album thread, but I thought these points were interesting and worth repeating from that recent Tom DeLonge interview.

Quote

The new single “One More Time” makes grown men cry, and what I love about it is that it makes an impact and maintains emotion without ever bringing in heavy guitars. That’s a choice you probably wouldn’t have made 20 years ago, so I was impressed by that.

That’s the thing, especially with a band like ours. We’re always like, “When does it get big? When do the big guitars come in?” And it crossed my mind, but yeah, we did the ballad thing. We just kept it what it was, and it seems to work. So no complaints over here. It seems to be doing its job. To be honest, we’re just lucky to have anything that people care about at this point.

For the “One More Time” video, who came up with that ingenious treatment to do a kaleidoscope or slideshow effect of background images from different eras of the band?

I think that came from the label. One of the people at the label had that idea, and it works so well with that song. I wasn’t quite sure how it’d come off, so I was just cruising along and saying, “Just tell me where to be.” But when I saw it at the end, I was like, “Wow, this works really well.” It’s really nostalgic and really brings people into our story, which a band is always trying to do. So I’m thankful that it worked at all.
