I like it! Fun little song with a totally different vibe from the other tracks we’ve gotten. Loving the variety on this record.

yeah my immediate thought too. Feels incredibly plasticy, which tbh isn’t a shock because that’s what I assumed based off the lyrics.

If this had been what we’d heard straight after Edging i’d have written the whole album off. You can do poppy and catchy well (Dance With Me) or you could do… this.

The vocals sound way more dodge on this too but im not sure how much of that is the rip quality.

Ah well, can’t win them all. On first impressions though this song is garbage, only mildly better than Edging because it doesn’t take twenty years to get through.

This album really might shape up to be one of their best at this rate. California with Tom and more edginess and creativity. Love what I've heard so far out of all of the songs in different ways.

Everything we've heard so far feels VERY Tom heavy. Wonder if Mark wasn't quite ready to unleash his singing during the recording as much as he would of liked to.

I bet it's just because Tom hasn't been in the fold for so long. I think this is the right move

I appreciate the diversity of it so far, a little bit of everything is a nice direction to see them take it.

Last week at the show Mark said that he was afraid to sing at Coachella because his full voice wasn't back yet and added that it eventually got better when the US tour kicked off and they started playing night after night.

We know that the album was almost done before the beginning of the US tour, but I wonder if he went back to re-sing some songs in June/July when they had a few weeks off from touring.

Yeah they kind of did that on Neighborhoods too, that was a very Tom heavy album even though it always felt like he didn't wanna be there. But I agree it's not a bad move at all to give us a Tom heavy album. Hopefully we get a couple Tom only songs too.

I will say I prefer the first verse to the 2nd verse. The bass just wasnt enough for me personally. But its still a lovely piece of work.

First of their singles I was legitimately disappointed by.  Pretty safe, and boring song after a few listens.
