Two historic footage surfaced recently !

First footage is dated 17th June 1993 at the Phoenix Theater in California. This is the band's last show before signing with a major label (the very next day 18th June is the day).

Second footage is dated 3rd September 1993 at 924 Gilman Street. This is the band's last show at Gilman before being banned from playing there!

Where did you see them?

I’ve been to 3 shows this tour, really don’t think he does that so much anymore. Was waayy more of it before.

Saw them last Wednesday in Amsterdam! The crowd loved the aay ooohs lol. His voice sounded pretty solid though.

Turns out we were at the same show then 😅 I absolutely loved that show tbh. Was such a good atmosphere. The whole thing felt like a big party. One of the most fun concerts I've ever been to.

I live in Norway but I travelled for the show. They didn’t have much solo shows on this tour so I wanted to see them on a non-festival one as well. Wanted to see Amsterdam as well so it was double win. They do!!

I also went to my first show this month, they played in Greece for the first time. It was a surreal experience they were super great.

I just want to talk about International Superhits.  The first group of albums I ever got, my parents bought for me (strangely good moment from them) was Gorillaz, Smash, and International Superhits.  And I think The Hives for some reason too.  I think they were supposed to get Dookie but got this instead.

So it holds a very strong place in my musical heart and I want to nerd out about it.  But nobody else has it so I can never nerd out about it.  I used to obsess over everything from the artwork to the track list.

The track list is amazing on there.  Idc if it’s a compilation.  Pop rocks & coke.
 

After that I’d have to go Warning or Insomnia as favorite.  Getting American Idiot at a bookstore because they were sold out everywhere else was peak emo phase though.  I remember being full emo at that point.
