Anthem OG is now my current favorite blink song lol.  It’s just aged so well and so blink every element of it.  The I Time Bomb ride off is so good and they still had some of that innocence of being this young cool band here for a ride. Perfect end to that album. Seeing where it influenced pt 3 is cool as well.

I can’t believe how much I skipped it in the past.

Wish my friends were 21 is the only blunder on it but still fine.

Did we just become best friends again?! Lol agree with everything here, but that “wish my friends were 21” line hit so hard in high school. You probably didn’t get to experience it then because you grew up with untitled. This song is also super fun to play on guitar

Always thought the OG Anthem is underrated. It's such a great song. I love how the first verse is basically completely different to the second verse outside of the melody and chord progression. Always have loved those kinda songs where the first verse and choruses have slower drum beats or different rhythms to the other verses and choruses

Outside of Adam's Song, it might be my favourite Enema song. It's a classic song

I can't say it's the best song on the record (Mark's verse just feels like such a stall for me with the "time of your life" line falls flat to me since day 1, but makes up for it with the explosive end line and back into the chorus) - otherwise damn near perfect song, and not saying that lightly.

However, I cannot stop humming or singing this chorus above every other song still.  Almost daily I start singing "won't be complacent!" to my dog.

It truly has to be one of the best poppy choruses they've ever put together, it reminds me of All The Small Things in a way but more punky, and I'm not gassing it.  It's gotta be in the top 10 choruses for me of Blink for catchy choruses, if not top 5.   Which is such a feat for this day n age.

Let's stop not talking about this song.  It's amazing.  From start to finish.  That chorus is truly in contention with any of them, considering their age, they nailed that like it was 2000 All The Small Things level of "holy shit?"

That epic ending is such a final cherry on top.

Guys somebody talk to me about this shit. This shit is fucking incredible.  I want to go line by line. I want to put this song on a butt plug and shove it up my arse.  Chorus is amazing, the guitars are amazing, the vocals amazing, the changes are amazing, ending amazing, fucking amazing, shit is blink perfection.

Yea dude they definitely tweaked the mix at some point. Guitars sound better and more clear now than they did when the album was released, NQAT

It's great, I normally hate that shit, but in this case it's a pleasant surprise months later.  Doesn't feel too much like a 'remaster' but more a 'here, fixed this'.

It's nice to not have to 'look' for the guitars when you get to just hear them clearly and loud enough 'isnt' 'that' 'right' "coight""?

This song is immense.  It needs to be talked about on a regular basis.  I think the length of the album killed off some of the hype for it?

We have an all time classic blink chorus (rivaling ATST and any 'poppy' awesome chorus they've had), we have sexy throwback Tom verses that sound almost remeniscent of Dude Ranch glory days.  Yet the aged voices feel awesomely as fitting, adds an emotional aspect to it.  We have a heartfelt Mark stop in (although, I admittingly don't love how slow it goes every time listening to it, kind of kills momentum, but obviously epic)

We already know the outro is phenomenal shit rarely done by blink before.

The fact it lives up to the expectations of the name is crazy in itself.
