Very Adam’s songy though, more effects don’t like.

Still love that epic nature of the song.  Both Mark & Tom. One of those you can listen to 5 times a day.

Tbh it’s much less annoying when they kept reusing that Adam’s song riff through the cali/cali deluxe era, so I’ll allow it haha

Yeah, it’s better when the rest of the songs are way different. It doesn’t feel as forced. Song is a mood

unreal, such a great song. definitely one of my favorites so far. the “stuck in life’s waiting room” bit is an obvious lift from green day’s brain stew, but i don’t mind it. the bridge is so great, the lyrics have more depth than anything they’ve released so far besides MTYK. this is what i want from the band.

Green Day lifted everything they ever did after Dookie.

Best lyrics of the album so far. And it's a very a poignant song. I don't love the chorus yet but it'll grow on me when the album comes out. The bridge is great. Mark used to say first thought best thought during the Delonge-less era BUT the truth is "honest Mark, best Mark".

Now I'm not going to listen to it again because I'm waiting for the whole album. They're really making us proud this year.

Lyrics are good but it sounds a little halfbaked, recycled.

most of it does at this point but the lyrics more than make up for it. the bridge is also killer, and the outro is phenomenal

The verses are fucking gold. Those lyrics holy fuck. Chorus and outro are very repetitive. Marks versus deserved a better chorus imo. The bridge is too short too, it just stops suddenly.

Very good song. Lyrics are amazing. Some parts irk me. It hasn’t caught me as much as others on the first couple listens but still very enjoyable and it’ll grow. Don’t want to overplay it too much before tomorrow though.

Oh that's funny I didn't even recognize that, because I was thinking of a DIFFERENT song that has that same type of melody haha (at 0:58). Like you said, I don't mind it either. Obviously a common melody and not an intentional thing.

Great song. Chorus is a bit repetitive but still like it. Sounds a lot like +44. And the bridge is like boxcar racer. Loving everything so far except for Fell In Love

Really liking this one. It's a nice change from DWM and MTYK. A little slower and more somber. Love that outro yet again.
