Yea mine was pretty good but had same as everyone else saying had issues. Liked the quality a lot so hope it's not a weird drastic change tbh. DWM actually sounded a little bit weird once it got on Apple Music, while Edging sounds better. Strange, freaks me out. Quote

Well if it makes you feel better, at the current moment it's not one of my favorites (I still like it, it's cool)... Though that could change with time, like I said in another topic, things are in flux right now. I thought DWM was gonna be my number one on the album, but now I don't even know what my favorite song is... plus I've even warmed up a bit to Fell In Love even though I still view it as a weaker song on the album. Even if you don't like the song. Except that it's one of the best songs on the album. Sometimes I think it has an Untitled vibe to it. Other times I think this is so very not-blink-sounding which imo is the beauty of it because it shows that the band can still make something fresh and original and make it sound like 100% blink. The variability in “Turpentine” takes you on a completely separate journey mid-album. It's SO GOOD. One of the best songs they've ever made. The lyrics are pure chaos and I love it. The timing reminds me of the old Irish Folk timing in a strange way. Just like Tom said in the Zane interview, they realise now that they can do anything with Blink, and experiment with anything. Going through all this pain and difficulty and questioning himself and then inserting jokes to sort of weather the storm is honestly amazing. I actually adore this chorus probably the most. It's so... simple but authentic and it just hits you so hard. I keep relistening to the record, others improve for me, but this one is still the absolute beacon of them all. Source is the CD on those I'm saying. Also, the iTunes plus version has been shared too and the HI-RES version on Qobuz (which, to be fair, I don't hear any difference). I got all of them to compare until I get the original CD, for fun, and yeah, they are all the same quality overall. Quote

It makes you feel really identified with them if you've been there. Like washing yourself with turpentine to get rid of the sticky oily kerosene that can be an addiction, depression or anxiety. Whatever your demon's name is. I love the song. Is pure gold. One of the best songs Tom has ever written. No question. EDIT: I'm still trying to figure out what kind of timing have they used on this. It sounds like 3x4 or 6x4, but also like others like "one-two-three, one-two, one-two-three, one-two", you know. The claps on the begining I thought they were telling it, but I'm not sure. 1 Quote
