I did not realize this song was a tribute. Holy shit, the line "it'll never be the same stage right" hits so much harder. This song just became a much tougher listen.

I was trying to make sense of the line when I first heard it, thought it was about Tom for a second but he’s stage left. I wasn’t paying much attention to lyrics as I was trying to take everything in on my first listen, but then realized it was about Robert once I heard the following line, and fuck I forgot he passed away. I’m glad Mark paid tribute to him with this cute little song. I always loved seeing his and the other tech’s posts about the band during the Skiba era. I’d always save my favorite shots of his to my iPad lol. It would’ve been wonderful to have him around for this era.

I didn't like how it started so abruptly (might be the leak) at first, but it's another good song.

Hearing it's about his bass tech makes it another fantastic song. 

I very much appreciate how it's sort of upbeat about the 'otherside' as well.  Sometimes you need that instead of the downbeat songs about death.

so obviously underrated from first listen, the deep cut of this album, but just unbelievably classic blink, pure and honest from the heart. if mark ever woke up thinking he would never write another good song, this is all he needs to play himself. it's so great, so distinctly mark, so straight, to the point, no shit, heart-warming and real.

Yeah this is a great song, really loving the energy in this... As someone who has lost some important people in my life, I fully agree with Mark's sentiment in this song and this is something I think of sometimes.

Not sure if this is becoming a trope but I love it. Demi Lovato did a similar thing with Dead Friends.
