Bucko Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 I'm sure someone suggested this might be Travis' fave off the album? Quote
Bucko Posted October 16, 2023 Author Posted October 16, 2023 Guys I haven't got a leak I was just setting up the track discussions ahead of time - sorry Quote

Monkey Chips Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 Between blink doing this song, Yellowcard's Childhood Eyes, and When We Were Young Fest... We really are riding the nostalgia train? Quote
Lemmingslikelips Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Apparently some actors dressed up like a young Mark, Tom, and Travis were spotted filming a music video on, I wanna say Malibu Beach? I wonder if that was for this song, or maybe When We Were Young. Quote

At least the song is good on top of the outro … Lost Without You was shit with a cool outro. This one’s got it all. Quote

I like Lost Without You, but I rarely if ever choose to listen to it except for the drum solo at the end, so you might be right 3 minutes ago, Speedo said: Great song, I’m kind of glad the didn’t make it to BCR. I love the new arrangement. lol Quote
Monkey Chips Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 (edited) Was digging through old clips on reddit, and assuming this is for this song... With the drums and how that guitar tone comes it, it's gonna possibly be good (at least from this snippet it sounds good) Don't unmute if you don't want to be spoiled... Edited October 18, 2023 by Monkey Chips Spoiler tag broke the reddit embed Quote
Chrisx37 Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Love love love the ending to this one 2 Quote
Elisa Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Childhood sounds like The Strokes or the kind of song you'd hear from an indie band in the mid 2000s and you'd say that it's weird for blink because they've never written a song like this, but it kinda works? Quote
Nosferatu Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 It's way different for blink but it's not something I ever wanna hear them doing. This one is like John Feldman turned up and told blink to write a reggae song or some shit. It's the only song on the album I dislike 1 Quote
Man Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Little hard to understand Tom. song reminds me of ULs Walrus..was it walrus? 1 Quote
Knapppers Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 This one is so different and so unique but so cool. 1 Quote

Man Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 What’s Mark’s first line about? He believes in aliens too now? Took long enough. Quote
Jan Mortensen Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 I don't care what anyone says, this was a great end to a rather 'experimental' and mature album. Very odd and unique song, yes, sounds like Gorillaz + Postal Service to me, but it somehow fits like a glove with the final outro - synth/arcade stuff to end this album just feels fitting in the best way possible. I love the risks they took on this album. 1 1 Quote
