It’s not that bad, it’s the album closer, it’s gotta run a little long and wind down. At least the song is good on top of the outro … Lost Without You was shit with a cool outro. This one’s got it all.

I like Lost Without You, but I rarely if ever choose to listen to it except for the drum solo at the end, so you might be right

Childhood sounds like The Strokes or the kind of song you'd hear from an indie band in the mid 2000s and you'd say that it's weird for blink because they've never written a song like this, but it kinda works?

It's way different for blink but it's not something I ever wanna hear them doing. This one is like John Feldman turned up and told blink to write a reggae song or some shit. It's the only song on the album I dislike

Thats such a terrible take... its a beautiful song and the ending is quality..

What’s Mark’s first line about? He believes in aliens too now?  Took long enough.

I don't care what anyone says, this was a great end to a rather 'experimental' and mature album.  Very odd and unique song, yes, sounds like Gorillaz + Postal Service to me, but it somehow fits like a glove with the final outro - synth/arcade stuff to end this album just feels fitting in the best way possible.

I love the risks they took on this album.
