I wouldn’t want him to change though, I love when he’s all hype about new music, the hype train leaves the station at 100mph before we’ve even finished the first listen and you know it’s going to crash just as hard eventually ♥️😂

I mean it’s decently interesting to see a fresh perspective on blink because they weren’t around for any of it, but it’s also annoying because they weren’t around for any of it to understand the impact of the 2003 album around the globe.

That Feeling This era defined blink for a lot of ppl.  Emo movement.  Unexpected, perfect album.

It’s not downplayed, it’s just reality. Blink ruled the world with the Enema and TOYPAJ era. Their reign started to lose hold in the selftitled era and other bands in similar genres started popping up and getting more sales and recognition than blink. You’re once again confusing your own personal taste with the outlook of the whole world

Not really, since you’re arguing with yourself.  Also not sure where this even stemmed from.  I was talking about the guy who was not even conscious when Self Titled came out to feel Part 2 is just the same if not better.

On one hand, I actually find it interesting, they are able to hear the music just as is with no other impact of the cultural relevance at the time, just the noise.  Like when we hear oldies.  But on the other hand, I didn’t live 10 years longer on this planet not to pull at my beard and make scoffing comments.

That’s how all music should be listened to. But as I’ve pointed out several times, that’s not what you care about most. You care about everything except the actual music and musical talent lol. You’re more caught up in how cool Tom dresses and what guitar he’s using

It's not a matter or popularity..it's a matter of cultural impact, if you lived through it, you felt it.. like the Bee Gees in the 70s or w.e.  You listen to it now bare, you'd be like 'wtf'?  If you were around during that time, you probably get it?  This isn't that hard to understand.

Riding on the bus parting our hair to one side and wearing blank tees and sharing earphones to listen to the new Blink tracks on Self Titled.  Enamored by the new darker style.  Where were YOU.

Also ATST was their biggest moment.  But I Miss You was a close second or in contention to.  They left the So Cal pop punk vibe for alternative.  It wasn't as big a deal but it reached a lot of new fans.  Definitely not a small period.  Everyone had that album in their walkman.

This is why I can’t take you seriously. You act like what you were doing is the only thing that matters. I’m just pointing out your ignorance and hypocrisy. I mean I’ve literally seen you try to prop up bands you like over other bands because the band you liked sold more records. But as soon as I bring up another act that sold more than blink, album sales don’t matter all of a sudden! You are a clown who is incapable of removing yourself from your own feelings and opinions, that’s why I’ll never take anything you say about music even remotely seriously 

and don’t ever bring up cultural impact. You have no clue what you’re talking about. You’ve tried to disparage Social Distortion several times yet their cultural impact is immeasuarable.
