This is why I can’t take you seriously. You act like what you were doing is the only thing that matters. I’m just pointing out your ignorance and hypocrisy. I mean I’ve literally seen you try to prop up bands you like over other bands because the band you liked sold more records. But as soon as I bring up another act that sold more than blink, album sales don’t matter all of a sudden! You are a clown who is incapable of removing yourself from your own feelings and opinions, that’s why I’ll never take anything you say about music even remotely seriously

and don’t ever bring up cultural impact. You have no clue what you’re talking about. You’ve tried to disparage Social Distortion several times yet their cultural impact is immeasuarable. None of your favorite bands would exist without them, including blink. You don’t know what cultural impact is. You jerking off in your bedroom to pictures of tom while you listen to self title isn’t cultural impact

Just, chill bro.  Social Distortion isn't as cool as blink.  That doesn't mean you can't like them to infinity.

You’re right Social D is way cooler. Social D spawned other legendary bands. Blink spawned absolute shit like Panic at the Disco and All Time Low LOL

oh and also social d actually plays live even though they’re older than blink

If we’re gonna play this game.  Blink 182 is definitely a top tier tavern cheeseburger. and Social D is burger music.

Says the little teenybopper who values looks more than performance and music. Tom DeLonge wanted to be Mike Ness, Mike Ness does not want to be Tom DeLonge. You’re a fucking idiot. And you’re up past your bedtime !

Shouldn’t you be going to bed with the rest of your 60 year old artists?

Don’t let him off that easy. He was glazing this album hardcore, like saying it was the best album of the century type glazing. He needs to be called out for backtracking on comments like that, and needs to learn to let things settle before proclaiming something like that

are you referring to Jan or me?

I mean it’s decently interesting to see a fresh perspective on blink because they weren’t around for any of it, but it’s also annoying because they weren’t around for any of it to understand the impact of the 2003 album around the globe.

That Feeling This era defined blink for a lot of ppl.  Emo movement.  Unexpected, perfect album.

‘K’.

Okay if we want to be technical then should we mention the reception of the 2003 record at the time? Everyone had hyped up that album at  the time because blink was on top of the punk industry from their two previous records, and I bet many were hoping for more classic blink. After it came out, sure Feeling This and I Miss You got radio play, but from all that I've read, I've found that people weren't 100% satisfied with it, and that it didn't sound like blink as much. and yes, I wasn't alive to see it for myself but let me just say that I live and act like I'm growing up during that time. tbh, I hate my generation lmfao I ha have the body of a gen z but the 'soul' of a late 90s/early 2000s kid. So this isn't a gen z hating on untitled. actually, I think it's a great record, but it's not anything monumental, but that's just my opinion. Like, to me, blink is supposed to be fun, energetic, upbeat, and ofc have some of that sad ballad stuff. Something you can relate to, yk? I don't know if I can relate to any song off of Untitled except for Stockholm and All of This. all the other songs to me are more vibe-music. I mean, everyone can relate to Dammit, Online Songs, and Anthem (parts one and two), but like just look at Asthenia as an example (no hate ofc, it's still a great song). According to Tom, the song is kind of written from the perspective of someone in space looking down on the earth and not wanting to go back. Who all here has been to space? Not many in here I'd assume lol

BUT I completely understand what you're saying. However, I just don't think 2003 was anything monumental. Actually, I tend to prefer +44's album, 'to be perfectly honest' (see what I did there 😂)
