Scott. Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 See you is the better of the two imo. Cut me off sounds like a Olivia Rodrigo tune Quote

Scott. Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 How does it work? Where do the songs go on my phone? Quote

Ghost Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I'm not sure of those. They should have released them not linked to the record. To me sound pretty different. The original 17 tracklist is perfectly sequenced. This kinda messes with it, sort of. 1 Quote
yodda Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Don't see why Cut Me Off didn't make the cut (eh eh?) The landline/lifeline part in the chorus was a nice little melodic section that I didn't expect. The brevity of it is also to its benefit. See You is hot garbage unfortunately. Quote
Aria Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 The verses in See You sounds like if Dammit was Non-binary. 1 Quote

Aria Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Same for the chorus, except replace Dammit with The Wolfpack. 1 Quote
Man Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Tom is doing that weird line delivery, reminds me of this style 1 Quote
fran.182 Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 "Cut Me Off" has an infectious chorus even if the verses and bridge don't live up to it. Similar sound to "Fell In Love" with some Motion City Soundtrack vibes included this time. No doubt it should have taken FIL's place... As for "See You", I'm pro-AVA influences in blink and I loved the intro, but after... meh. I should like it more, but it just feels like it wasn't properly fleshed out lyrically/sonically. Overall, these are just average unlike most of OMT. I don't know if they are better than any full song besides FIL. Lemmingslikelips Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I prefer them both to fell in love, see you slightly more but cut me off is growing on me 1 1 Quote

blinkAVARacer Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 don't know if i'll listen to these two songs very much, but i definitely like See You more Quote
thongrider Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 These songs shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as that delightful third song on the OMT album. 1 Quote
