Well, I'm liking Cut Me Off more than See You, pretty interesting! Reminds me to My Chemical Romance. But I don't know if it's the files we have or if Travis is just abusing of distortion on voices, man.

um so did Mark and Tom have nothing to do with the writing of these songs?

Would make sense for Cut Me Off (a lot of people have commented that it doesn’t sound like a blink song), but surprised to see that on See You, given the obvious AVA comparisons. Definitely see why they were left off the record then!

They sound like it, so literally just thrown in by label to make some extra buck.

Not offended.  Makes sense.  Current times we in.  Actually kind of glad they didn't write those, they sound janky for Tom/Mark writing.

Songs were clearly recorded with the intention of being on the album. Label didn't force them to record them.

Sounds like were intended as potential bonus tracks from the get go brev.

That's such bullshit lol. Completely made up. But even so, clearly recorded and intended to be released as blink-182 songs written pretty much completely by other people. You had a pretty big problem with that during Skiba times but now not offended? Just the times we're in apparently.

Interesting. Almost as if it's actually just okay when Tom does it. hmmm ?

No, I'd be triggered if they were on the album as is.

The songs aren't even finished.  Doesn't take a beethoven/bach fan to notice that.

They were 1,000% an album push strategy.

Sure, if they wanted them on the album they may have put more time in to finish them and touch them up.  My ears tell me they stopped working on them about 3/4 way through.

Ironically the two songs left off don't have Tom/Mark writing credits, just a pure coincidence.. hmm. Aussie logic.

They're on the deluxe version of the album. Songs 17 and 18 followed by Childhood on Apple Music/Spotify so not even bonus songs at the end. Do you not consider Even if She Falls and Fighting the Gravity to be on Neighbourhoods?

This is again stuff you've completely made up lol. They are definitely finished. Just cause you don't like a part doesn't mean its unfinished lol. They aren't demos. Mixed and mastered just like the rest of the album.

They were released after to bump up sales for sure but not originally recorded for that purpose. They were recorded and intended to be on the album. Travis even tweeted about Cut Me Off back in January.

So yeah. 100% recorded and intended to be on the album.

Were they dropped because they weren't written by Mark or Tom or just because there were better songs that flowed better together? That super blurry track list Travis posted ages ago has 21 song names on it. Just as much of a chance that when sequencing and putting together the track list they thought these 2 brought the album down and didn't fit so they dropped them.

Nevertheless recorded and released as blink-182 songs with neither Mark or Tom having any writing credits and thats just fine all good nowadays ?

Interesting. Wikipedia has different credits, but fuck knows where they got them from haha

Yeah no idea haha. Apple music says the same as Spotify so i'd wager its the truth.
