I actually really like See You after a few listens. I think if it had a more rememberable instrumental it would be like Not Now's baby.

i'm glad there are two versions of the album, i can keep listening to the one without these two songs. the album was perfect as it was, but i get it if they were put out there to outsell drake.

I like them both. Def both growing on me more and more. Sad they’re not on the physical cd I bought since that’s probably all I’m going to listen to in the car now rather than Bluetooth from my phone.

Its fucking silly to release loads of vinyls and push sales for an album and then go "oh theres a different version" less than a week later.

I honestly was glad for a second to consider that they didn't write the songs because I literally listened to those two once and went "wow these suck" and haven't returned. If they have written on them then lame, they're better than that. Literally those two songs and Edging were what I was worried the record would end up being before we'd heard MTYK and DWM.

Agree so much. Everyone keeps comparing it to the toypaj bonus editions or Japan bonus tracks but those were all there from the get go. Not announced a week later. Totally different.

I mean it was pretty obvious that it was a fuck up and they were writers on the songs lol. If we are gonna say that anyone who farts in the room while a song is being written will get credit, then not sure how anyone could have possibly thought Mark and Tom weren’t writers on them lmao

Finally listened to them, they get a big shrug from me. To be honest, these songs are in line with what I expected from Blink when Tom rejoined - not awful, nice to hear the guys voices together again, but not worth listening to a bunch either.

The fact that the actual album blew that expectation out of the water is an amazing gift haha. Probably won't think about these songs very much after today, I hope the strategy works for their sales but that's about all I got!

Nah, Travis posted awhile back that cowbells had officially made it onto the new blink album. Only song with cowbell- Cut Me Off.

I think they added them as bonus tracks because they didn't fit naturally into the track listing anywhere.. Definitely used them to sell more copies, but meh, it's no different than releasing 117 vinyl variations and cassettes and everything else bands do.

BTW- I guess I'm not getting my Tom variation vinyl after all this time either way. I checked on it and there is a phantom tracking # showing that it delivered to my house like a week before the album even came out. Which it didn't, and I received nothing else from blink that day.

Quite the screw job there.

So then with this comment, are you declaring that anybody with a writing credit has pitched in a great bit, and didn’t just fart around in the room? Because that’s all I’ve seen from coping fans

With how poor their customer support is I doubt they'd be much help... Though you could try your luck in contacting them, maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

Got an automated response that they were busy and would get back as soon as possible. this was like Monday lol

Sounds exactly like what happened with my request and they never got back to me... I just accepted the xl shirt that will never fit me. At least it's a nice looking shirt; I can either leave it in the box or frame it.

I have no horse in the race; I don’t really give a shit either way. I’m just saying, regardless of your thoughts on what one has to do to get a writing credit, it’s a little ridiculous to think Mark and Tom would legitimately not have one
