I’m afraid I’m gonna overplay this song off the live rip on YouTube and then the official versions gonna be super gloss up and produced and I’m gonna be all angsty.

Honestly that’s kinda what happened for me with GOTDF lol

They’re still a couple of my favs, but there’s no question that the recorded version of both GOTDF and After Midnight didn’t live up to my dreams for them after hearing them live a million times first.

I'm jizzin' right now. I didn't saw Easy Target. I mean, taking that in count, them playing Obvious too and the new song... Oh my. Their next record can be really interesting. We'll see how they make their aproach to that. I hope they go for a more experimental thing in the sense of Untitled.

perhaps i was just in high school, but i looooved both after hearing those live versions. i still do. the production is pretty ass on the whole album but there’s something about the wall of sound bridge on GOTDF that’s appealing to me. maybe it’s just being a certain age and hearing it for the first time. i’d hyped up the album so much there was no way it was gonna let me down lol

The arpeggiated parts of After Midnight are the closest thing to the sound of the Untitled record, too bad Tom's guitar doesn't have the same tones (and is too low). GOTDF is perfect for me, except that I would have liked it a little faster and with more distinct sounds in the bridge. Two of the best on Neighborhoods for me.

I missed out on the live GOTDF and After Midnight, but I can imagine. I still don’t think we’re at that hype level yet but it’s getting close if they have new stuff again and is much more peaceful/drama free which is nice.

i think these were the first performances.

Fucking hell.  That makes me feel right back in 2011.  I would have definitely lost it at Ghosts, but doesn't sound too off the album version.

Such a special time, even if it was dark & stressful, can't replace that first reunion experience and being mindfucked how much they're "grown up" from the glory days.

That live version of After Midnight that came out before it was released was the biggest cock tease ever. The bridge sounded so much better. I'm still pissed about that one

Lol that had so much potential to be a top blink guitar part for the album.

I forgot how drunk Tom used to get though where he’d look like a kid at guitar center learning the guitar at times though
