Frank Woods
If I Never Left You Is totally stuck in my head: love the rhytm, the change of pace at the 3rd verse, the syncopated guitar solo at the end and the chimes' outro. Lyrics are simple but very relatable (and a bit painful).

Can’t go back, every other weekend and everyone everywhere very close.

It’s great, I don’t like the sound of the guitar in the final chorus though
351
I prefer a song like What Went Wrong because it makes it easier to visualize a clear timeline in your life, and it gives you the space to ask the same questions raised in If You Never Left or not. In my opinion, What Went Wrong is such an underrated song. If they did a new arrangement and released it today, I believe it would be a hit song.
thongrider
I remember showing WWW to people that didn't like blink in like 2003 and couldn't believe it was not a hit.

351
That guitar was something else. I've watched this video countless times. Sorry for going off-topic. 1 1
Elite Takes - this is jan
Idk exactly what's going on at the end of One More Time harmonies, but it sounds like vintage pure +44 Mark in one of them in the backdrop. Sounds awesome. Someone lossless isolate that shit or whatever you cool kids do nowadays.

whales
Can't Go Back is my current favorite. Feels very blink in all the ways I like. Boxcar guitars, Mark and Tom vocal contrast, chill drums, catchy and moody. I simply love to hear it

After reviewing the 'Deluxe' - nothing has been changed. However, there was nothing really jarring to begin with so it's hard to tell. As for the original OMT tracks - they are no different. Drums still sound way too loud in your face - therefore, it's all in your 'yead'. Notably, they did get rid of the excessive OMT album options on Spotify, however, they kept in the OMT version with Suck Me Off and See You, which is unfortunate. Till next time, -Jan, zero hours of actual experience
fran.182
I see everyone loves If You Never Left and it's probably the fan favorite from the deluxe... Is it just me or the bridge sounds "wrong" coming so soon after the chorus, once more giving that copy/paste impression? I've warmed up to All In My Head's verses-chorus transitions, but this one still doesn't sit well with me.

I simply love to hear it I have the impression that this song is going to pass under the radar in general, but I think is an absolute masterpiece. Is simple, haunting, atmospheric, lyrically direct to the heart (and very relatable, to be hones). Could have been on Untitled. The only think I would change to be absolutely perfect, as someone pointed out, is if it had an 'extended' instrumental ending a la Untitled era live versions of the songs or as the live performance of the song suggested this last weeks.
