It's like a fog that's coming through the windows even in his own bedroom and he can't escape it. #TeamSeepage I hadn't thought of that. But like this too. I was thinking more she's SO cool that it's seeping through the window, and then always had imagery of a window sill seeping out cool blue air (like how A/C seeps through the window). Like Mark looking up at his crush's window. I always thought this was one of the more clever lines since I was a kid and sung it on many bus rides to school. It's kind of demoralizing.
Russel Coight
Boxcar vs +44 is a tight race. Lyrically +44 all the way but marks solo guitar tones can be grating but I do love the songs a lot. Boxcar is fantastic musically though, and toms lyrics aren’t bad here or anything. Would say boxcar just seeps past for the win. 3
Jans Stand
Boxcar = +44 It's an impossible choice for me. Best lyrical and top tier Mark stuff vs super cool and badass Boxcar album. Self Titled is the combination of both for me meeting in the middle. Good times.
thongrider
I prefer+44 nowadays.

The Boxcar songs get a little big more annoying though IMO, like And I, There Is. But it is probably a more exciting ride start to finish. +44 is way more mellow and an easier listen. "The Government is Lyingg" type stuff on Boxcar is top tier Tom vocals They were really meant for each other, but it was nice to get the separate styles for an album each.
Knapppers
Box car is way better for me. Not enough love is given to When Your Heart Stops Beating(the song) though. That is a top tier song. 1

I encourage everyone to go listen to it and see if still feel that way. It's a perfect song.

Roary
I think Jan was trolling. We all saw how seriously he took BOTB last year. He’s actually brilliant for this performance…drumming up hype and interest for himself. I see you Jan, you’re my boy blue!

Him loving the lyric and singing it all the time as a child raised an eyebrow. Who does that? Oli would be proud of being committed to the bit.
