allsystemsgo
Okay, now I want to hear the whole album. I need a good blink listening session to sink my teeth into 😩
Tenks
Okay on second listen I actually think I hate both songs. They're like an AI caricature of what you'd expect the most generic post DED blink stuff sounds like. I loved OMT but they don't really sound like anything on that album, probably why AIMH was cut initially. Generic half baked, jarring melodies we've heard before on Cali/Demo Tapes. Overdone "remember when" song themes that they hit much better on other songs. 2 1
Neal
Aw man…i‘d prefer for them to release a good record every 10 years over churning out paint by numbers overproduced forgettable tunes like this. They‘ve been on tour for years now. Nobody expects them to release new music as well. they should wait until they feel inspired again and turn in an absolute belter of a record. sure, i don‘t have to listen to the songs i don‘t like, but the good to trash song ratio in their catalogue is turning to shit. 4
Scott.
The structure and flow of No Fun reminds me of early blink.
Bucko
So few listens in. I do feel a little bit let down by No Fun, I think the teaser really did highlight the best of the song and it didn't really go where I expected it too, but that's a me thing. It sounds like it belongs on Tom's Demo's Odds and Ends album (which I do enjoy for the most part). All In My Head - surprisingly the better of the 2 for me. Catchy but can understand why it was left off the original album cycle. Suppose I need to temper expectations, for the most part, these songs were left off the original album for a reason. Still looking forward to hearing all the new songs though and enjoy these 2, they're just not as good as the bulk of OMT...
Scott.
I really like them both tbh. I like the lyrics on no fun. Riff is a classic. All in my head chorus is pure gold.

mahtmd
Perhaps I’m just easy to please and still too hyped about the boys being back together but I like both songs! They’re not the strongest or most memorable but they’re listenable and enjoyable. They’re fun. If the rest of the deluxe tracks are like this then I’ll be happy. Jamie
No Fun had a really good intro and decent verses... but they fucked up the song with the chorus in my opinion. All In My Head is just a meh song.
Chewy030
No fun is the better of the two for me. All in my head isn’t bad but as some have said the first chorus sounds like it was copy and pasted after the verse, not a smooth transition. Still fun b-sides though
plusavablinker
I love no fun. And that second verse is so relatable...All in my head is good but nothing spectacular..
JarJarBlinks
the way Tom says "Punk!" in No Fun is really annoying, Jerry Finn would not have let him get away with that. Shit, Holmes wouldn't let that fly lol.

2point5
I prefer All In My Head to No Fun. The cum stain line is definitely weird and out of place though which ruins it a touch
WPGBlink
I think I am still on No Fun over AIMH after listening to proper recordings this morning. Regardless, I hope the boys break from tour (after they finish up these next few shows/festivals) and take some time away. Come back to recording with fresh ideas as others have said. They smoked the comeback in terms of OMT and the touring cycle output. I understand "striking while the iron is hot" but there needs to be a balance here. Refresh, recharge, and let's hear/see you guys when the ideas are there and fully fortified for new songs on a new standalone project.
Ghent
Spoiler: next album will be just like Nine and everyone will act like it's somehow way different lol 2 2
Knapppers
These are good but already after a few listens I find myself not having to go back to them. Usually I would listen to them on repeat all day but after a few times, I'm onto something else.

Everything he does smacks you in the face (like a drummer like him tries to do) and then it’s really fun for 2 listens and then your ears hurt and you have little desire to ever listen to again. Zero staying power. This literally only works with MGK because he needs so much extra help covering his shitty vocals.
