It grew on me a lot. It's one of the most beautiful albums I know.

I can see that. I just remember not getting super into it and kind of forgot it existed. I’ll have to give it another spin

First song is just uncomfortable though. I always imagine that people stopped after that.

Yea, I remember that. Nothing shocks me but I remember a lot of hardcore NoFX fans even saying they were a little off put by that.

Wait, what? You don’t like the choruses or bridge in Bored to Death?

Boo this woman!

I don’t like any of Bored To Death, the verse compliment was for YDKWYG only.

Bored To Death sucks. All of it sucks.

Yea. They’re definitely not true punk rockers like Noodles and the rest of the Offspring.

Well, you said they were twins so I assumed you meant that you only liked the verses in Bored to Death as well. Sheesh.

The sibling comment is because they sound really similar - both bad, YDKWYG slightly better because of actually not terrible lyrics and emotional weight.

The tiger from a tree line is brilliant. You just don’t get it.

You don’t understand my humor. I was joking. You don’t always have to be so angry at me, lol.

But since we’re dissecting lyrics, someone explain to me what “ I’m a landmine not a lifeline” means and why that’s so brilliant. lol so dumb

They are destructive, not helpful.

Ohhh that’s so deep! Was it Taylor Swift’s ghost writer or Ilan Rubin who came up with that lyric?

This should not have been an explanation needed lyric, Diddy.  Be better.

YDKWYG is Tom's love letter to Mark.  Him singing the chorus is just immense.  Surprised at all the snubby nature surrounding it.  So good.  That said, I don't frequent it too often, doesn't have a ton of staying power.  Favorite song opening weeks though.

Was it Gregory, Ryan, or Andrew who wrote that lyric? My bet is on Gregory.

Worst line in the history of blink-182 (aka. alkaline-182).

Name a worse Tom lyric than "tiger from a tree". (Not including AVA)
