One more time deluxe thread

I've gotten used to the generic melody for 'Take Me In' but that bridge kills it for me... 'Can't Go Back' is really great, gives me 2003 blink vibes. 

My ranking so far:

1) Can't Go Back

2) No Fun

3) All In My Head

4) Take Me In

I will say that TMI does remind me a bit of a Disney (or is it Kingdom Hearts?) song mixed with "Where Is My Mind" so that's what I like about it, but again... that bridge is no good to me.

For all the robotic production complaints, I've to say I love the echo effect on Can't Go back vocals. So haunting.

To me this one feels like After Midnight's sister track, even if not as great.

Chorus is really catchy on Take Me In, but it doesn't really click with the verses for me? Not sure

Not sure if I'm missing something but what's the point of bands (like blink) putting songs online for a couple of mins/hours. Come on, it's 2024, someone will download that media and upload it. It will be on the internet forever.

I think at this point they know that.  Can't hold music hostage anymore.  Days before the release date isn't going to make a difference.  Weeks or months before is a different story.

It's even more odd how unprepared Sony was... According to Jake on Mark's discord server, Sony is attempting to fix their servers because they crashed from all the traffic.

pretty enjoyable tunes! i feel like i’ve heard the melody of take me in elsewhere before and it’s a little plain, but it’s pretty good honestly.

What gets me, is this is still a huge band.  Common sense would say hey there is going to be a huge influx of people trying to go on the server.  Should have things in place to prevent a crash.

my thoughts exactly. it feels like all 3 members are bringing their own parts to the table without relying on a throwback sound

Haha, maybe? At least the intro, for me... It also reminds me of something else, but I'm not sure what, so far...

Wow, I wasn’t expecting Tom’s verse to go that hard on the studio track.  It’s good to have a proper Mark lead song that doesn’t feel forced too.

It’s not super blink, or what you’d expect from them, but it’s one of the best songs I’ve heard in some time.

They're enjoyable tracks, I like Take Me In I just cannot hear Toms opening verse very well

as for Take Me In, its a fine song, but the vocal melody in the verses and bridge take me out of the song and i just cant see myself listening to it very much.

what were they thinking on that Take Me In bridge...anyway the verses and chorus are ok but it's quite a weird song.

and Can't Go Back is good, seems Tom's delivery on that one snippet was the only bad part imo
