Bit the bullet and got a couple of tickets for the Huntsville show. Just over $90/each after fees, so not terrible.

Pretty insane. The ticket itself being $200 is close to fair value, but once you add $150 in the fake fees it gets ridiculous. I thought I got gouged last time by being forced to do the Floor VIP on Ticketmaster. This time it's even more expensive and no VIP lol

At least we recently had American hero and icon Kid Rock in the White House helping Trump sign an executive order to stop ticket price gouging and fees. These prices should drop any day now, kiddos!

For the OMT tour, I was looking at tickets in Toronto on the floor that got as high as $1500 on release with the surge pricing. Ultimately dropped to $750, sat for months, then slid to $275 lmao.

My problem is that I would rather just not go to a big event if I'm not gonna have good seats. It's just not worth it to me anymore if I can hardly see anything and everyone around me is boring. So now any concert or sporting event I attend has to be like the price of a vacation

I’m the same way. Except for Lions games are so expensive now , it was over $300 last year for the seats that are furthest back. Back in the day I’d be section 1 and only a few rows back for like $300 lol. Now it would be thousands so I can’t do that. But generally speaking if I’m going to a concert I want to be as close up as possible too

I've done seats at shows for years they don't bother me especially since any time the main act is on you're never actually sitting down. The last blink one i went to was a blast everyone around us singing as loud as we could and dancing like crazy.

Well said. I agree. 

I used to attend way more back in the day and things I'd be on the fence about going to - I'd just say fuck it, and go. 

Now, with the way live events are, I am way more selective with what I'll go check out. 

I'd rather just bite the bullet for teams/bands that I want to see and have the best experience possible.

Yea I will say, the last blink show I went to my friend bought the tickets up front and I just paid him. We were in the seats and still had a blast!

Seats are fine as long as they are close enough to see faces. If I'm watching on a video screen then I'm too far away and probably should have stayed home
