OMT jangly guitar part in the verse of bad news all of anthem part 3, it just really works. the riff (!) in dance with me, another of tom's greatest, and his vocalizations on the outro i like the riff in WWWY but don't really like the song. it's just another distinctively tom riff, no approximation or AI could emulate it. just very him childhood is controversial and very hammy and phoned-in, but i love the chiptune outro i've been very consistent in my love for every other weekend, it's so good I thought this was Jan’s comment the way Cheshire Cat was neglected. 2 Quote

"I will do anything, and that's what scares me so bad" is one of the most real Mark lines. Starting here, best point on the album. Cacophony slow to fast transition middle of the song is top tier "Sometimes I don't feel, the same way" harmony part is epic. M&Ms Mark exit vocals next to the main riff is great Touchdown boy intro guitar, Peggie Sue breakdown guitar + Tom vocals over it Fentloozer Scott high point, the main chorus groove really shines here. 3 Quote

Now that I think about it, it’s really easy to find good things about Cheshire Cat. Just the guitar parts alone in Touchdown Boy and Wasting Time are great. Back when Tom had passion for playing guitar. Now it’s “JuSt a tOoL” 2 Quote

Emil Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 Always had a weak spot for Mutt's intro on EOTS. Something about the drums and bass just hits it off right away for me. Dude Ranch has some of my favourite moments as well, the first minute of Enthused, the outro to Lemmings and the entirety of Apple Shampoo among a fex. 1 Quote
Elisa Posted August 24, 2025 Posted August 24, 2025 I will always answer with the intro of Enthused & the guitar part that starts after the bass solo on the bridge of A New Hope. 1 Quote
Jan Mortensen Posted August 24, 2025 Posted August 24, 2025 I just realized Anthem 3 reminds me of a mix of Waggy and Enthused. The beginning guitar parts at least. Which proves they need to make another Dude Ranch type album. (which is why that intro guitar part is one of my favorite blink parts) 1 Quote
Nosferatu Posted August 25, 2025 Posted August 25, 2025 The build up intros of Anthem Part 2, Violence, Dumpweed, Carousel, Ghost on the Dance Floor, Bridges of Asthenia, Feeling This, Here's Your Letter, Adam's Song, Everytime I Look For You, You Don't Know What You've Got, Everyone Everywhere, Obvious, Please Take Me Home, Verses of Hey I'm Sorry, Pathetic, Kaleidoscope, Feeling This, Stockholm Syndrome, Natives, 6/8, Turpentine, Violence Choruses of Feeling This, Wishing Well, Obvious, More Than You Know, First Time, No Heart to Speak Of, Last Train Home, Violence, When I Was Young, Kaleidoscope, Here's Your Letter, Untitled, All In My Head Pre-choruses of Kaleidoscope, PLG, Every Time I Look For You, Boxing Day Outros of Anthem Part 3, No Heart to Speak Of, Obvious, Easy Target, Everyone Everywhere, Feeling This, Pretty much every Tom moment when he shouts like Feeling This verses, Stockholm Syndrome verses, More Than You Know pre-choruses, Go choruses, Easy Target bridge or every moment Tom and Mark do the call and response vocals or when they harmonise and it just sounds so damn good like the verses of Ghost on the Dance Floor, pre-chorus of Boxing Day Love the heavy riffs like Up All Night, Snake Charmer, Obvious, Stockholm Syndrome or the one note riffs like Dumpweed, Adam's Song, Stay Together for the Kids, Reckless Abandon, Wendy Clear, Dammit or whenever Travis goes crazy like the I'm Lost Without You outro, Fighting the Gravity Outro, the intro of Heart's All Gone, outro of Generational Divide There's so many good moments even on the albums I'm not a big fan of 1 Quote
