Yes, obviously we all liked Blink at one point in time, but alot of us grew out of Blink and moved to different bands/different styles. Sure Blink was great back in the day, but now that I look back on them, they aren't really anything special. The only reason they got so huge, and yes it's true, is because they were soemthing fresh. They made penis and vagina jokes, they talked about fucking moms in the ass, they made fun of boy bands, thats what everyone needed back in 99, but now, it's just lame. Sure some of the jokes are still funny, but it's not fresh or anything anymore, its the same old crap that we've heard a million times.

Same with their music.

I completely agree with you.

But you can't forget where you came from. You can't forget that they were once, good, and fresh and that you did like them.

I think too many people do that with things. Acting like you never liked a band and that they completely suck is stupid, when you use to think they were great.

I use to love The Beatles, but after about 6 years of my obsession with them I lost interest, there was nothing more to listen to.

But that doesn't mean I still don't respect them for getting me into music and whatnot.

I don't agree, I think a song, or anything, can change the world for you as much as you'd like it to. It only depends on how much you put your mind to it.
