  1. this is my first post on this forum in forever. I haven't listened to blink in probably three years but man I am suddenly super excited for all their new stuff coming out. Anyways, just my opinion, from someone who really hasn't been into blink since high school, I thought both performances on Leno were pretty badass. Didn't find anything wrong with Tom's voice at all actually. Also, I thought Angels and Airwaves was absolutely terrible...here's to my renewed interest in blink 182!
  2. I really like the guy from Bloc Party's stuff. Both of the strokes guitar players are really cool also.
  3. yeah everything is fine on the body, nothing modified. pickup covers still on, pickguard is just scratched.
  4. I bought a guitar about two weeks ago at guitar center. they have a 30 day return policy, but unfortunately I took the plastic off the pickguard and it's kind of scratched now. The plastic pickup covers are still on, and there aren't any scratches on the guitar, think they will let me return it?
  5. Peavey valveking 50 watt amp vs. Vox valvetronix 100 watt?
  6. Thanks for the help guys. still undecided on the amp but tomorrow i'm going to the music store and am going to play around on a few and pick up a Boss DD-3.
  7. Thanks i'll check it out. Btw i'm getting rid of the RP250 and using my Boss Od-2 and picking up a new delay pedal. Edit: that amp is only 15 watts.
  8. For most of the songs the guitar tone I try to get is similar to The Strokes. I also use delay on some tracks.
  9. I'm thinking of buying this and just using my effects pedal to get better sounds: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-Frontman-212R-100W-2x12-Guitar-Combo-Amp-104506076-i1323510.gc
  10. Probably not getting a tube amp. What are some good solid-state amps? Edit: i'm selling some shit so I'm looking at a $300-$350 price tag, maybe a new amp. Please, more suggestions.
  11. My friend uses a 75 watt amp to gig with and he said they mic the amps at the venue I'm playing at. I guess I'd be willing to spend a little more around $200-$250 on a used amp if it's good.
  12. When I went to college I sold my amp, and have been using a POS 15 watt amp. My band has a show next Monday and I need to buy an amp to play shows with this summer. What amp should I look for? BTW I'm looking at used amps around $150-$175. How is the Line 6 Spider II 75 Watt Amp? Another question: I have a digitech RP250 multieffects pedal, how will this hold up when I crank up the volume? Edit: how is this: http://tampa.craigslist.org/msg/722161829.html
  13. It's not about looking good? What the hell is up with the two belt thing then...I guess it must contribute to their live sound. He looks like a tool now, fuck Angels and Airwaves.
  14. This was interesting: http://www.ohmyrockness.com/BandBio.cfm?BandID=8522
