  1. Sweet! Oliver likes it!

I thought he would give it a 5.

I think the album is a little Ava-ish. But that is what Tom is into now.

    I love this album!

I don't really hear that much AVA at all on this record TBH.

whatever AVA there is (which is intensely minuscule), it is destroyed by travis and mark's sonic booms.

  2. Allot of people on this forum seem to do the same thing verbally.

Its kind of like...were all blink fans...cant we just agree to disagree sometimes rather than calling each other dicks and stuff. lol

yeah but if by some random chance that this whole board met at a gig, i doubt we'd immediately resort to throwing bottles and coolers at each others heads mid-gig.

  3. my singles would be:

    After Midnight

    Wishing Well

    Fighting With Gravity

    (maybe) Ghost On The Dancefloor

I know it's you're opinion but if Fighting With Gravity was released as a single it would do sooooooooooooooooo bad! it's just not radio friendly.

that's sort of the idea. i'd like blink to release their non-"radio friendly" songs. nothing wrong in being different from the crap that's on there already.

  4. i couldn't wait.

notes: Natives being completely not what i expected (it was immensely better and made me forget i was only on the second track), Snake Charmer is badass and the outro reminds me of Blur but in the "fuuuuuuuuck yeah" kind of way, hearts all gone interlude is sooooooooo much better than i anticipated and is great on it's own as well, i'm glad that riff tom showed on modlife became a blink song (wishing well), Kaleidoscope sounds groovy and really digging the guitar and piano, this is home does remind me of ava and 'after hours' by we are scientist but has a redeeming chorus, MH is good classic Mark and Travis can't go wrong here, Love is Dangerous is nice and all but not crazy about it now maybe later, Fighting the Gravity is a great track that is something i'd love to hear more from blink.

  5. okay so i've listened to up all night again. if you don't hear the "pitch-correction" in the first part of the verse that is sung by Tom then you are fucking deaf. other than that, WHY AM I DRUNK AND POSTING ON A BLINK BOARD?

    FOREVER ALONE

    6-forever-alone.jpg

  6. i may be drunk as fuck right now, but AM sounds godly. apart from the auto-tune/pitch correctiong whatever the fuck you wanna call it. i still hear it. call me weird and fucked up, but im hearing it.

BUT, no matter how crazy i think a song sounds, the shear fucking fact that this song was made by three of my favorite musicians automatically makes me like it. i'll probably listen to it more than someone who thinks the song has more problems in it than i do, because i'm always looking at the fact that 7 years later, my three favorite musicians are friends again and rocking the fuck out.

    drunken comment over/

  7. i should really listen more to my 48-hour critique rule on things. AM is shining now as an amazing blink-182 track and i have nothing but deep cravings for an album leak.

Am I the only one who thinks blink is abusing the 'verse verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus' formula?

    HAHAHAH!

    No shit? They are blink-182.

Yeah, but it's so generic. Change it up, blink.

why change it up? it's suited them fine all this time, and it's not like EVERY song of theirs is like that.

  8. i'm sorry. i'm sure i'll get over it soon. and it's certainly not stoping me from not listening to these songs over and over. it's just everytime i hear auto-tune, i think of some stupid fucking rap-pop song where the dimwitted singer uses it the whole song. but as i said, it's not gonna stop me from listening.

  9. okay im giving into the way the guitar sounds now but im still iffy on toms voice. its gonna be more difficult to get past the auto-tune. i really hope there's not as much auto-tune on the other songs as there is on UAN and AM.

  10. why are some people saying that things will be fixed on the album? i may be wrong but i would think they are releasing the final mixes of these songs. it doesn't really make sense to release pre-mixed versions of your song when your a month away from release.

and also, wasn't the mixed record due to the label like 2 weeks ago or something?

  11. wow. you couldn't have compared two more different bands. but i see your point. it's very simple to create a setlist as a popular band that both adheres to older and newer fans. if blink played something like this, i don't think they'd get as much flack:

this is a little over 1 hour + banter.

    Feeling This

    Up All Night

    The Rock Show

    Always

    Ghosts on the Dancefloor

    Untitled

    Josie

    What's My Age Again?

    Reckless Abandon

    First Date

    All The Small Things

    Violence

    After Midnight

    Going Away To College

    Down

    Carousel

    M+M's

    Dammit

  12. i don't think anyones fighting.

it's what happens on all boards. separate opinions get expressed and opposing dialogue is exchanged.

if you end up taking it personally, you need to get out from the basement and go out into the sunshine and take a walk (off a cliff).

  13. i live in Vancouver, BC. 30 bucks for an 8th. 20 for 2 grams. 10 for 1 gram.

and the people i buy from are the coolest people ever, i go there, relax, blaze, talk about whatever, buy, relax a bit more, then retire to wherever i have to be.

yeah all my guys are super chill like that too.  But damn, sounds like Canada gets there weed for significantly cheaper than down here in the US, I'll make a mental note of that.

hahahaha yeah! it's only been recently that i've noticed how good i have it living in Vancouver for weed.
