After all my complaining, I have bought standing tickets for Aberdeen! Glasgow was sold out and I think I'd rather go and see them at their own show. I saw them in the US last year, so seeing them in Scotland should be easier!

It's not strange at all. They're probably not allowed to play any English dates because they're doing Leeds and Reading.
Makes a change from Scottish folk always having to travel to England for gigs.
I'm sure it does make a change and I am not saying they shouldn't play in Scotland.
I think it is strange to play Scotland twice... and Aberdeen as well! How many Scottish dates did they play on their last European Tours? If it was the Reading and Leeds thing I would have thought they could have stretched to Cardiff as well. I accept thats a possibility and if it is true they must be getting paid shedloads because they have proven before they can sell multiple nights in London alone. It is peculiar when you consider their only stand alone dates of the whole tour in the UK are in Scotland. No one can say they would have expected that!

So apparently these are all the dates! Why are they playing in Scotland twice? This seems pretty strange to me. I would have thought there would be at least a one off London date.

Aberdeen and Glasgow confirmation has made me chill out a bit. I was getting apprehensive Reading and Leeds would be the only UK dates.
That said, if you look at the confirmed dates so far Travis is covering some ground in a pretty illogical order.

I'd be extremely surprised if they just play festivals, it's just festivals are what will be announced first. I wouldn't worry.

You have to have in mind that on a tour of this size, some nights they will want to talk, other days they'll want to just play and then others just get it over and done with. Having in mind this was the second biggest show of their careers, im sure they weren't just going through the motions, but I have noticed when they have toured in the UK one night they will talk loads and another not that much.
As for ages.. I felt a bit of a paedo where I was sitting, but other than that there was a good spread of ages.
Show was awesome, definitely slicker than in 03 and 04. You could tell they practiced and you could tell that they all love blink being back. I knew Mark was stoked, but Tom seems to be into it. Yes he wears an AVA shirt, but why not. You have to think he thinks that with blink getting more exposure that AVA could too and he obviously enjoys AVA too. Travis looks like hes having so much fun, and he was also more polished and seemed to be switching it up in places.
The only downer was apparently I can't buy alcohol because my passport doesn't have a stamp in in. Which is bullshit because nowhere else seems to care. Oh well.

In my hotel waiting. Kind of a douche thing to say, but it feels like Christmas. I have travelled several thousand miles for this, a day I thought would never happen.

Yeah, the venues literally in the middle of nowhere. I'm staying in some hotel a couple of miles away and just getting picked up the next day.
holiday inn?
Think its red roof? I can't remember right now.
I'm Section 8, was all I could get, but again not sure how bad it is because you guys seem to do seating differently to us.

Hi everybody!
I'm going to Boston's concert from Italy.
I'm looking for someone who can take me to Boston after the show, or information about how to go to Boston from Mansfield after the show!
Thanks in advance guys!

That looks your best bet.
By the way whats all the worry about being drunk and not getting let in? Sorry, I'm from the UK and to me drinking and music go hand in hand?

Yeah. I agree and knew all of that, its just playing in Scotland is weird - I'd expect it to cover the UK and as discussed in previous tours they have only played one date in Scotland, so to play two now is weird. My suspicion is that Travis boat will go to Scotland and thats probably why.
Still I buckled and bought tickets for the show in Aberdeen. Irony is we will probably fly up there!
