hey does anyone know the set list for this show?
-
and nobody wanted to listen to me when i said that
i was looking for the thread you had posted earlier but couldn't find it, so i thought i'd share my story here.
great photos btw Thunderous!
and douglas.ward thanks for the video uploads from the show, do you have anymore? The quality isn't half bad... it looks like you were towards the backside of the pit, right?

btw this was an extremely easy pit to sneak into. originally my friend and i bought two lawn seats because that was all we could afford. after going to the boston show and sitting in the lawn, there was no way i was going to hartford for lawn tickets again. so i purchased a pit ticket from stub hub, which was okay with my friend. he didnt have money for a pit ticket so what we did was have two copies of the same ticket. he got into the venue with a lawn ticket but when he went over to the pit table to get the braclet, he just used his copy of my ticket to get hole punched and get the braclet. all they look at is if it says pit ga on the ticket and you're in. this was way too easy!

i got goosebumps in the pit when mark was talking about DJ AM.

i'm sorry, but i really want to know who the girl in your avatar is..

This show has to go down in blink history because of how emotional it was, but how awesome blink played through it all. The pit was really fantastic the second half of the show when they moved on to stuff from TOYPAJ, EOTS, and Dude Ranch where people were basically jumping on my back to crowd surf and the circle pit was nasty.

alright back from the show in my hotel room. i dont have a setlist but for the encore they didn't play the drum solo but they did carousel and dammit as usual. This was the best show I've ever been too, period. The pit was insane and I had so much fun. Mark spoke a few words about DJ AM and was actually crying a little bit. I could see Tom crying and I couldn't see Travis, but I'm guessing he was too. They had a moment of silence with all the lights off and then started back up with Down.
Best blink show and best concert i've ever been too. I will only see blink now on from the pit, because it was so fun. moshing to blink and throwing people up to crowd surf while chanting the lyrics to feeling this doesn't get any better. I was pretty much 3-4 rows of people back from the stage when everyone squished together.
btw, i got a pick from mark hoppus that is white, with a purple/pink octopus on one side and the 5 arrow blink logo on the other.
I LOVE BLINK!

currently in my hotel room down the street from the comcast theater! tons of people out in the parking lot tailgating under tents because of the rain. luckily ill be in the pit and not outside on the lawn, but ill see if i can post a correct setlist from the show after i get back to my room after the show. but i doubt ill remember 20+ songs in their order while im in the pit.

I was able to score some pit tickets for this, which is gonna make the show so much better. Good thing too, cause there is supposed to be thunderstorms in Hartford on Saturday and I don't want to be stuck with lawn seats. Hopefully the pit is a bit crazier than the pit in Boston. Plus, I don't have to watch the same supporting bands this time, except for Chester French who were actually pretty good.

Why do people think that Mark and Tom are actually fighting during the shows. People need to grow up, they are only messing around!

After going there, I really don't think it was one of Blink's best performances. And I don't think it is there fault at all. The place is huge and there are too many morons going to these shows. The sound isn't very good at the venue and when people sing to the songs, you can barely here the music itself. Plus, like people said, they weren't joking around as much as in previous shows. Also, they didn't play one single joke song like blow job or country song like they have in the first few shows of the tour. I'm hoping for a better expirience in hartford.

Yea the concert was extremely boring until Blink-182 came on. Is it true that the Comcast Center is the second largest venue they've ever played at with 20,000+ people in attendence? Anyone know what the biggest venue was to date? Also, I'm pretty sure some guy died at the concert tonight. I was walking by and some drunk guy fell to the ground and smashed his head out in the concourse. A few minutes later when I walked back there were a bunch of police officers (along with security) around his body and there was a blanket that seemed to be covering his body. If it is true, than that is the first time I've seen someone die right next to me.
By the way, Blink-182 was awesome! Merch was way too expensive though. Going to see them in Hartford on the 29th next.

Like they say, "crappy punk rock since 1992."

Parking is fine, it's a huge lot. If you plan on staying until the very end, which I'm assuming you will, it is going to be a nightmare getting out though. They don't look at tickets until you go inside the venue. So you could actually just hang out in the parking lot and listen to Blink-182 from the outside if you didn't have a ticket.

mark is obviously joking around with the "sorry about my friend tom"... i can't believe people actually take this seriously LOL.
-
This looks like it was one of their best shows yet! And they have tonight off and then tomorrow they are going to be in Boston where I will see them. Hopefully they are gonna be pumped to play!! Also, I'm glad they are still playing Josie, this is one of my favorite songs.

Since I got juked on the Portland, ME concert, I had to settle for lawn tickets. At least I'll be going... I'm also going to the Boston show earlier in the month, Blink-182 two times in one month!

Since I got juked on the Portland, ME concert, I had to settle for lawn tickets. At least I'll be going... I've been there 2 times before with good seats so it is not a big deal. As long as I'm listening to the music it should be good!
August 29…Hartford, CT…New England Dodge Music Center

Thanks J-Town! I just wanted to create a setlist on my computer of the show, as a kind of memento. I knew the list was pretty much the same as the other shows with the two alternating songs. Of course there wasn't the drum solo, but that was to be expected on a night like this.
