you guys have to realize the real magic of Blink is dead, it will never be what it was. I went to their concert this summer and it was kick ass. But Tom's heart is not in it anymore, that's why he left in the first place. He did interviews basically slamming their songs and talking about how hes not 15 anymore. And it is pretty lame for guys their age to be singing about "first date"s and what not. Tom's heart is truly with AvA and hell do blink when he can, probably for some money and Im sure he still has an appreciation for blink, but it is not where his heart is. If it was he would be grinding out songs by now

Well, ya know, I like it because I think it sounds rad. Do you think technical talent is a major reason behind why we love Blink? I say "technical" because Blink has a different instrumental talent than most really skilled musicians, such as creating simple guitar riffs that sound awesome or fairly blunt lyrics that still are able to convey a strong meaning, and who could forget some of the hooks they have written. So no, I don't believe the difficulty of the song measures the quality and will agree to disagree, sir. Also, where did it say that Scott wrote the drums to Mutt? That's really interesting theres a demo with scott playing mutt, travis made it a hell of a lot better tho, he didnt "barely switch it up" as someone suggested

You forgot to mention that neither Tom or Mark contributed guitar or bass to the song, instead they only lent VOCALS over other musicians (probably 40 year olds) guitar, bass, and drum tracks. you keep saying this, can you provide evidence of this? Sounds like it could be Mark and Tom on guitar and bass to me, unless there is an article or something elsewhere that proves otherwise. dude if you cant tell its not them, you dont really have a knack for understanding music. I play guitar and drums quite fluently, and I can tell by the style of people whether it is them or not on the track. Im sure any one here with a good ear could hear that song and tell you it is not them. Why dont you buy the fucking CD and look into the credits for the song in the booklet, I guarantee youll be proved wrong.
