I needed some days to form an opinion on this record.

Still struggling with the way it sounds, most fans, reviewers (People like LittleRedGuitars and such), all saying the same thing.

But besides that the record is really good. Dance With Me grew on me the most and i did not like that when it came out.

Best tracks: THE 2 BONUS TRACKS!, Turpentine, Bad News, You Don't Know What You Got, More Than You Know, Terrified, Fell In Love because its such a straight forward pop and love song.

Don't really care for: Hurt (Interlude), Fuck face, Edging, Childhood because it just doesn't sound like blink to me and again the production aspect.

After listening to the record a lot, i can no longer have California/NINE in my blink music catalog. I like plenty on those records but it doesn't feel like blink-182 canon.

Listening to Neighborhoods going into One More Time is very interesting btw.

Also very obvious why they left out the 2 bonus tracks, they feel different but they need to tap more into those sounds, ''See You'' and ''Cut Me Off!'' sound like songs from a 2014 blink-182 record after the DED e.p

Theres just something that not satisfying about how it sounds. Listening to Enema, toypaj and untitled is a pleasure to listen to loud, on headphones etc. - but OMT is just not nice sounding and gives me a headache. But the songs are so good. Loving cut me off right now.

Interesting... The Deezer FLAC looks pretty brickwalled (I'd see how look my Qobuz files). But to be honest it's fun, because to me the record doesn't sound as 'bad' as it may 'look'. It has it's little moments in which sounds too crowded, but overall it's fine. It's their choice and it's the way mainstream music is being produced today.

I'm not having this. I had it with California. I don't know whay in the hell, but it was a record which gave me even headache. I only could listen to it in its entirely a few times. Funny, though, it didn't happen to me in NINE, except for a couple of songs.

Some songs are worse than others.

Worst are AP3, Fell In love, one more time, WWY, YDKWYG. I wonder if those are mixed by the same guy.

It's not a prestigious standard.  It's more like "why did Travis go from a perfect sounding drum kit - to like an amateur sounding electro kit" in same realm as Lars Ulrich trashcan snare sound on St. Anger.

It's a minor annoyance that's offputting, but it doesn't really change the songs.

Yeah i fucking love these songs, its untitled vibes, tom sounds awesome and its blink again. But the songs just SOUND offputting. Like i cant listen to them loud on headphones, and i have i 400$ earbuds. Just bugs me.

Yeah it irks me too, but have to tune it out a bit of the songs, seems like it gets toned down on the choruses though like here and dance with me

The snare is so compressed that a cymbal is leaking through and hurting my ears ?

never had that thought ever on a song

this album is so weird sounding drum and vocal wise
