  1. first off, hold off on the travis comments haha cause i really figure theyre comin.... i just made this a little while ago and thought it was FUN so wanted to post it. obviously i know i'm not the best drummer and am not trying to show off cause all the beats are really simple, i just wanted to mash 4 cool kids songs and play along. tell me what ya think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKaO3pvzMrM#ws
  2. i was there for this
  3. solid playing man!
  4. lol i never really even realized i play stiff haha but oh well. i'll work on relaxing more lol. i played along with the songs and then i just added them in after i recorded the videos. thanks again for the good words
  5. yeah he is an awesome drummer! i'll have to check out some videos. as for my kit...i have a pork pie little squealer. i looove the sound and the look of it. i've got evans emads on both sides of the kick and evans clear EC2's on the toms and i think they all sound great. post some vids brother!
  6. hey thanks guys. a couple things: sounds funny but i honestly don't know how to loosen up haha. i have pretty much always played that way and have tried to just play with as much energy as possible, and always end up playing the same way. if i relax then i feel more bored and not on top of it i guess. idk how to explain it really. and with the "travis barker" setup...theres no getting around that that's what it is....and though i was influenced by multiple drummers when i started drumming, he probably was the biggest influence and so i obviously just modeled my setup after his...and that's what has felt most comfortable to me since then. i probably will switch it up sometime soon but for now that still is the most comfortable and playable...until i find something more unique that fits me better. i appreciate your compliments and critiques though
  7. i'm filling in drums on a tour with a band called house of heroes from here in columbus. we'll be playing with tobymac and skillet. wanted to show you guys my vids i did for them. i did 3 of them...
  8. is tom jacking off travis?
  9. yeah i agree. i do like that lately he's been a lot more experimental with his setup, as far as different crashes/splashes/timbales/snares etc.
  10. whoa havent seen you around these parts very recently...but yeah i LOVE that kit. didnt it have shanna all over it? yeah i haven't been here in a while. just thought i'd post to share about this. here is a video also of travis playing it with expensive taste http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxSKytnwiRw&mode=related&search=
  11. he's been using it with expensive taste. i think its ugly too my favorite one is the playboy drumset.
  12. 4 | Travis Barker +44, Blink 182, etc. Travis Barker’s “Everybody Wants Some†new kit is a 9×12, 14×16, 22×24 with a custom paint job and 50% offset hardware. http://ocdrum.com
  13. thats sweet hopefully he doesn't hurt himself again though
  14. nah thats not true...you cant just hook up an amp and then expect the sound guys in the back to make it sound sweet. you still gotta adjust the settings on your own amp to make it sound good...they just make it sound better through the PA
  15. i agree man i don't like it either
