  1. Shit. Time flies. Feels like yesterday I was in my room after school jamming out to that CD.
  2. Was anyone else on the edge of their seats during that entire last scene when they're all sitting out at the pool? I thought for sure some crazy shit was about to go down.
  3. You just keep at it. It took Louis CK almost twenty years before he caught on. For most of his career he was doing the same set. Watch his old YouTube clips.. you'll see. You're gonna suck shit when you first start, unless you're just a fucking natural like Seinfeld. I'm absolutely horrible, but it's something I enjoy doing and even if I can get a chuckle out of an audience I feel like I'm going somewhere. Don't be afraid of bombing... it's going to happen, it's inevitable. Just get in the mindset of learning from those mistakes and improving on your material. so where you get started? do you write stuff down or just go up and as for a topic or what? I usually write out my thoughts. I try to remember certain keywords or phrases on stage. I always have a plan for what I want to say before I go up, but it's never written out word for word.
  4. I've been listening to a lot of EDM lately. I've had an urge to dance my ass off.
  5. I kind of stopped keeping up with these guys but they are fucking incredible. I haven't heard Year of the Black Rainbow to be honest. They were the first band I ever saw live (they were on a tour with Thursday and AFI... awesome show).

  7. This was posted on Reddit. I thought it was pretty cool. Spoilers http://i.imgur.com/2rZTq.gif
  8. Didn't know about the spoiler button. soz.
  9. Aaron Paul re: the last two episodes of this half Shit's about to go down. I don't know if you guys read the Rolling Stone issue with Bryan C. and Aaron P. on the cover but there was a bit in the article where Bryan was talking about the cold opening to the premiere episode of this season (Walt's beard, machine gun, etc. etc.). He had to ask Vince Gilligan some questions about that scene whenever they were shooting it and one he asked was "am I protecting somebody?" and Vince said, "yes". I think it's Jesse from those new guys he's about to start dealing with. But I don't think we'll see anything about that until next year.
  10. Honestly, if you want to try stand up... you just have to do it. Don't over think it the first time. I've been doing it for about two months now and love it. I'm not good at all, but I love making strangers laugh and trying to write funny material.
  11. lmao, i said that in my mind in his voice. have you heard his Monday Morning podcast? it's funny. and tReerAT, good list. Greg Giraldo is overlooked i think... too bad the bastard had to die.
  12. hell yeah.. he was so funny on the episode the other week. he fits perfectly i think.
  13. that's cool. it seems like he's a chill guy. what are some of your favorite songsby him/PtL? i really like People off Strange Negotiations and Magazine & Penetration off Control
  14. I honestly thought the second season drug on too much at the farm. But season three looks way better.
  15. Yeah Louis CK is probably the most popular comedian right now, and for good reason. He deserves everything that has come his way. His TV show is fucking great. I think another comedian that is really great at the moment is Bill Burr. His new special is pretty funny.
  16. Any other stand up comedy fans in here? Here's some comics I think you guys will like. Anthony Jeselnik https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFnKTs6CXwQ Rory Scovel Natasha Leggero https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHyhLtroeF4 Chris D'Elia Nate Bargatze (from Tennessee)
  17. I agree with you so much. It's only been the past year that I've gotten into him. Bazan's lyrics are crazy good. His solo shit I think is just as good as PtL. Hard to Be is such an amazing song. edit- also, my friend got to meet him as well after his show in Birmingham, AL. said he's a really nice guy. i wanted to see him on his living room tour but that shit sold out fast.
  18. Any other fans? Bazan will be touring this fall/winter, playing Pedro the Lion's Control. I'm so fucking excited.
  19. These guys are awesome. The Nights of Wine and Roses is my favorite song off Celebration Rock. Best album of the year imo.
  20. I missed that dinner scene the other night because I got a phone call right when it started. These past few episodes have been awesome... Dead Freight was one of the best looking episodes I've seen so far in terms of directing and cinematography.
  21. This season has surpassed Season 4 by far. Something big is going to happen in these final two... what exactly, I don't know.
