  1. 1. Tom said the Wright brothers are from NC.....They invented the Mile High Club. Which I often do by myself

    2. Tom said he wanted to go down on John McCain

    2. Tom told Mark that he fucked his sister right around the time they met.

    3. Mark said fuck about 15 times during the whole show. ( That shocked me )

I wonder if anyone got a video where Tom was talking about meeting Mark's sister and that riff he played whenever he said it was the first one that they were playing on the first day that they jammed? "I swear that was the riff, but you don't remember because you don't care"-Tom  I liked whenever Tom was asking Mark if he remembered the day that they first jammed together and Mark was like "Yeah.... I was totally there..."

Oh yeah, and I loved how they misspelled Charlotte on the back of the black, yellow and red tour shirt: "Charlott" At least they had the date fixed. I was wanting the Charlotte Tour shirt with Tom on the front but the date was off, so I didn't get it. I wound up getting a bunny and the shirt I described ^

i went to the show in atlanta and they had a similar moment. Tom started talkking about their first trip to Atlanta 17 years ago and said mark wouldn't remember because he doesn't remember things like that or something haha.

also, i thought that was cool about the shirts too, that they fied the dates and misspelled charlotte. then i hung out with a friend that went and she was wearing hers and hers had the old dates and charlotte was spelled correct. i guess they didn't sell as many youth sizes as adult sizes

  2. i got up for concessions and heard asher say they got punked by blink, and looked and saw that they had lowered the curtain on him. when i got back he had 2 guys on stage dancing and they stripped down to thongs and were dancing to one of his songs, apparently tom or travis hired them. during all the small things asher and his crew ran out on stage in their boxers and tom changed one of the lines to "that was, stupid" and explained it later on in the song. last day of tour pranks i guess.

  3. good show, seemed like they were in a rush though..barley talked in between songs, didnt even do the thing at the end where they go offstage for a few mins and come back out with carousel and dammit...they just played straight threw em. The pit was def the craziest out of the last 2 shows I went to.

Sucks I didn't see you. Forgot you were going.

Met up with Billaftermath and his brother. We had the baracade on Mark's side.

It did seem rushed. Almost like they were just going through the motions and not really into it. But I am use to that by now.

It was still a good show. Although Asher Roth, I am not exactly sure what happened there. I think he was disappointed with the crowd so cut the set short.

I think for $80 we should have gotten a little more then some 30 minute set of hip hop guys and a rushed set by Blink.

I was right in front of Tom, all the shows I manage to get almost front row somehow...if you're going to MSG tomorrow let me know, I'm getting there early and gonna have some time to kill. Asher got booed pretty hard, I think he wasn't feeling it.

That's cool. I was there at 1pm and still didn't manage to get the center. But the pit looked pretty intense so I think it was better I was off to the side.

Yeah, I don't think he was feeling it either.

I still don't get why Blink didn't do an encore. They had plenty of time. The show was over at 10:30. No travis drum solo either.

Can't go to the show tomorrow. :-(

Going to be at a wedding. Now I am pissed though.

The main reason I got the tickets was because I thought it was blinks last show...I mean its one of the most famous arenas, a great venue to end the tour at...but they went and added a few more shows, kinda pissed me off a bit. Oh well, have fun at you wedding.

not all of the shows after MSG were added on. charlotte and atlanta were supposed to be last week, but they played other shows those days from the week of DJ AM's funeral and pushed us back. which in its own right pisses me off because the only support sticking around is asher roth. i think valencia jumped on, but still. so we got fucked too.
  4. merch prices for everything is $5 bucks more for canada, except for wristbands, pins, and stickers. shirts $35/45. hoodies $60

Honestly you have to be shitting me.  FML!  I was hoping they wouldn't be dicks about it but obviously they have been.  I should have just got tickets to Detroit.

And then you have to transfer Canadian money into American money and probably lose the 5 bucks there.

No I have American money.  Living on the border ftw.

I think krisseh0489 was saying that when you convert the cost in American dollars to Canadian dollars, it works out to be about the same (and I did this and for the cheaper items it's a bit more, but for the hoodies, it's right on).

I doubt you have to pay using American money. I assume they're charging $5 more because of the exchange rate, so it wouldn't make sense to charge more only to have us pay using the same currency (unless they're trying to rip us off). They also probably wouldn't sell nearly as much because I don't think many people go to shows with foreign currency.

I know why they're charging extra...  I'm just saying it probably would have ended up being a cheaper for me to go to Detroit (1 hour away) instead of Toronto (3 hours) after merch and all other expenses.  Hey but I love the Molsen Amplitheatre so I don't mind the extra $20 for merch I'm going to have to spend.

You're not paying extra for merch. The point they're trying to make, is after you convert the American money to Canadian or vice versa, you're paying the same amount. From what you described you're only spending extra money in gas.
  5. My favorite merch I've ever bought at a show was something Linkin Park and Matchbox Twenty both did. You pay like 30 bucks or whatever and you get a pro-recording of your show within a couple of weeks. Matchbox Twenty's was cooler because they had it on a USB wristband, and you could pre-order before you got there so all you had to do was pick it up at the show, or they'd mail it to you. Linkin Park just gave you a blank cd (which the show didn't even fit on) and a code to download it with. I wish blink would do something like this. That would be much cooler than limited edition plastic bunnies and posters. The different shirt every night is really cool though.

  6. WHOA wtf $30 per shirt? That's friggin ridiculous. I already payed $60 just to go. Ugh. Won't be getting as much merch as I thought.

I'm just curious, how much does a regular teeshirt that you would wear everyday cost where you live?  Because most of my teeshirts cost 25-30 bucks, except for plain white or black ones that I just get at walmart haha.

$20 at the most. I've never heard of shirts costing more than $20 at shows. Every shirt I've ever bought at a show cost $20.

So much for the "we want to make this show affordable for everyone" crap Mark and Tom gave us.

the show is cheap.  they r not forcing you to purchase a shirt

50-60 bucks is not cheap. nothing about this has been cheap.
