Guest +jordan Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Yeah so I've been dilly-dallying here and there with my acoustic trying to play/develop a singing voice, and I decided to record a little something today. I recently got the new Tegan and Sara album and fell in love with "call it off", so I decided to cover it. http://superman112.googlepages.com/callitoff.mp3 First and foremost I know I fucked up here and there, but it was one take just to see how it sounded with a male voice. I also recorded a little bit of "hero" by Enrique Iglesias (haha) http://superman112.googlepages.com/hero.mp3 I've been asking people for suggestions on how to improve my voice and stuff, and someone told me I let too much air out when I sing but I'm not quite sure what he means by that. So if anyone could give'm a listen and let me know what they think, I'd appreciate it. Quote

daz Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 i don't think it's that bad. atleast it isn't a whiny voice. try developing the range in your voice...practise off your guitar play an e play an a play a d play a g etc and oscillate your voice from the lowest e to the highest e and then back. develop that vocal muscle Quote
