  1. I was just about to post this too. Great song name, sounds like the title of a +44 song. I wonder if the words "she said" will be in there....
  2. Yo Unwritten Law, I'm really happy for you, Imma let you finish, but Blink-182 made the greatest "Up All Night" song of all time!
  3. Guys Up All Night's riff was made way back in 2003....look at 3:23 in this video!
  4. Hey people. Be patient. You're all gonna forget all this bullcrap you've been saying the minute the new record comes out.
  5. 'Always' is my favourite vid. Dude, he's talking about the ones that came on the Self-Titled CD that were created by the band personally. Like this: <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value=&quot;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBf9qVb4TAg?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param'>;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBf9qVb4TAg?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=&quot;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBf9qVb4TAg?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
  6. total tool, is it possible that I may ask you to take an in-depth look at just the verse? I HAVE been mulling over just that for the past three days....still not quite sure.
  7. That's probably true, but this guy has a track record of getting it right a lot of the time. I find it hard to believe that he'd go from being 95% correct to 50% wrong.
  8. I know, I know....weird question. I've played it out....and while in one way it sounds right, in another it sounds like something's off. Dunno if it's because the recorded version of the song cut the treble to make the D & G strings sound less trebly and I'm just confused because of the extreme tone difference....I don't know. Doesn't help my amp's broken at the moment so I can't EQ the sound to see. Can someone take a look and maybe see if something's goofy, or if its just my ears playing tricks on me? http://www.ttabs.com/tabs.php?id=257476
  9. Yes.....I can see that. But the whole POINT of this poll was to see what the result would be if we had voted this way instead of using the method from the other thread.
  10. Lol, by that logic, the winning song would be The Fallen Interlude. Nice try though
  11. Vote for your FAVORITE SONG I'm curious to see how different the result of this poll would be compared to the 'least favorite' method that's been going on in the other series of polls. So, I'm doing a redux of all polls done so far (ST, TOYPAJ, EOTS), and we can all compare the results.
  12. Yeah dudes, bands repeat jokes all the time if theyre on big-ass tours like this....we just never noticed because up until some years ago, we didn't have boards like this who'd snitch them out =p
  13. The question everyone needs to think of is this: if you were in their shoes (think carefully about the details), would you feel the same opinion that many in this thread seem to have? You gotta remember....Green Day didn't break up for 5 years.....of course they would have to throw in a few surprises, otherwise, their live show would be stale. Blink, on the other hand, IS PLAYING THE STAGE AFTER FIVE YEARS OF NOTHING. They can afford to keep it routine, because as a band, they're just getting back into the game.
  14. I doubt that he had that neck put on by someone else. The ES series are set necks, and I wouldnt even want to think what it would be like to have to remove and replace the neck in that way and on that style of guitar. What a nightmare. And a longer scale length does not necessarily mean you need to have more frets. My basses have 20 and they're quite a bit longer in scale length than a Gibson with 22. It would have more to do with the string tension in those lower tunings than anything else. After looking at it a bit, it looks like a custom job; I haven't seen a headstock shaped like that before. If you look at the sides where the tuners are, it doesn't look like it's a Gibson with a notch cut out. The lack of the neck joint cover kinda points that way too, plus I'd bet the longer scale length would probably necessitate a custom build (even though Gibson did do longer-scale baritone Les Pauls a few years back.) OTOH, David Kennedy probably knows better than I. This.
  15. Sounds awful. Tom could barely play the main riff. Give him a break. First time song performed live, many had been clamoring for it, and those can contribute to a shaky hand for anyone. I'm just glad they're finally playing it live.
