  1. I wonder how Feldy noticed the band. Nothing special at all.

I was very critical of Feldy in the past andcI'm against him being involved with Blink. Having said that, I think the song is really ok.

I have no problem with Feldy, I just want him to leave my favorite band alone with his factory work.

All of the Feldmann videos posted on here make me like Cali less and less bc it all sounds the same. Fucking Feldmann. To be fair Cali is much better that that I'll disagree there. Except for Los Angeles, fuck that song

Yeah, Los Angeles is one of the songs I was talking about.

Holy fuck that is some awful shit. I give him credit though, he's got his formula down pat. I'm sure this will sell well and is well polished. @ 1:40 is so cringe

Honestly...there is stuff on Cali that is not much better than that.

    The course is catchy.

Well now that this song has left the charts from #2 (serious), there's room for a Blink single.

So sorry if I was the first to expose you to this video and song.

    German subtitles. Lol.

One weird thing about all of this is that Mark obviously wants to remain relevant, which is totally understandable. But by refusing to play new songs because they're new, he's pushing the band toward a nostalgia act. We're supposed to wait several years to hear stuff from Deluxe live because by then we'll be used to them or something? How is that staying relevant?

I think it's actually the opposite. Blink has their classic and beloved songs and Mark believes by playing them all the time the band is going to stay relevant forever. Staying relevant doesn't really contradict with being an nostalgic act imo.

I'm pretty sure that Mark also knows that that the new songs arn't that great. ;)

Exactly, I honestly thought this new Blink was in it because they enjoyed Blink. Obviously getting paid is part of it like anyone's job, but Mark's angle has been "Man I love Blink so much and we just haven't done it enough because of TOM".

But with this shitty 70 min shows, one must question that. If they are bored as hell and banging out uninspired 70 min sets complete with none of the deluxe songs, you must really being to question what this is all really about for Mark. Does he just do this now to squeeze the last few pennies out of Blink's legacy?

    Agree.

It's so obvious that Mark is in it mostly for the money...even more than before. Don't get me wrong, Blink started selling out decades ago and I have no problem with them marketing themselv and selling all kinds of shit. But there a a few things which are just lame and show their real intensions:

    The beforehand mentioned short setlist.

Keeping the name Blink even if it means legal difficulties with Tom AND they have to pay him for using the name. That alone should have been a good reason to chose a different name. They didn't to it because of $$$.

Shitting out music as fast as possible with the help of countless ghostwriter and handing the keys over to Feldy. Was the easiest and fastest road to take.

  7. We can disagree about the new direction of the band, Feldy's influence, Tom's behavior and so on but Blink only playing 70 minute sets should piss off everybody.

They just became super lazy and this is the perfect example that Mark is in it for the money a similar way as Tom was in it for the $$$.

If Mark enjoys "Blink-4-life" that much why doesn't he want to play longer. At least 90 min...that's the minimum.

Overall, Blink just became a joke recently. Tom at least tries to be creative and tries new stuff, even if he fails doing it 99% of the time, while Mark is trying to do the same stuff over and over again.

Are you listening to an alternative station or Sirius? Bc the major stations in my town won't play anything aside from pop with no instruments. Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, etc. That's why I stick to my Itunes mostly. With 7500+ songs I have a solid collection and I have no personal interest in FM radio anymore. Sirius on the other hand is pretty solid but even they don't play deep cuts which you think they would considering that have rights to everything

Es Sheeran plays guitar you know?

Except this isn't Tom, I'm not a "tomboy," and it is quite useful, as it is currently hanging in my daughters bedroom and looks really nice!

You're missing the point but ok. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

It's like you guys expect him to post a copy of their legal arrangement on the cover of Kerrang.

lol at my meet and greet he got on his knees right in front of us in slide position

Too much information...Feldy was standing behind you?

Why do you want "feldyfans" (aka blink fans, btw) to be so worried, Oliver?

All I know is blink is active with Skiba recording music I love. Tom is most likely getting paid for it. It's a strange situation, but it is what it is, and I'd rather have this situation than NOTHING at all, any day.

Haha. Love how you say Feldfans = Blink fans.

I'm not a big fan of the Feldy influence but still a Blink fan you know...

To be honest, I have no idea what you're up in arms about. The interview was pretty standard fare

They have recorded two albums with Matt and done a lot of shows and his status is still unclear? Also the Tom situation doesn't seem as clear as a Feldybot would want.

I'd love to know what the deal is legally, but it is starting to sound like Tom ain't full of shit when he says he could basically come back.

I am betting the deal is, Tom keeps his share of the pie, reaps the rewards, but lets Blink continue on with Matt. Its a good deal for Tom. I bet he gets large chunks of the monies for doing nothing.

Otherwise it would have been endless litigation and Blink couldn't move on.

Mark has no backbone. I bet he let this happen.

It's also a good deal for Mark and Travis. Music with the name Blink attached to it sells very well.

I'm not deflecting. I haven't changed any stance. Currently listening to a full album right now on YouTube at the gym. I've only had to go over and fix it once because an Amber alert went off in my ears.  No ads, no loads to next song, beautiful stuff! Don't interrupt my dude ranch emotional journey either cunt.

What a world we live in.

I totally forgot he did that! that's true! and he's here shaming people for mocking Tom's mental health.

I don't condone mocking peoples mental health but GODDAMN that's hypocritical.

    What did he write!?
