Bad news is that Tom didn't wear his "LOVE" t-shirt this time! Good news is that he now has a clean t-shirt.
Also, I think this is the BEST I have ever heard tom sing live, ever.
Holmes was laughing so much at tom during the show because of what he was saying. In my anthem part 2 video, you can see holmes just smiling and laughing away haha.
I am still in awe from this show.
fucking amazing show. Mark was praising Toronto through out the show, and I have to agree that Tom's voice was kickass. Weezer also blew my mind
Lol because he was talking shit about Toronto throughout the Detroit show. Don't get me wrong I love Toronto, fucking kick ass city and I would rather live there than Detroit, but Mark was talking a lot of shit about you guys.
They've been doing this the entire tour. Actually, a lot of bands do this.

hahahahaha yeah ghent. it was pretty amazing. reminded me why i love blink but towards the end mark seemed a little annoyed with tom. I did love the going away to college though, he got on his knees and sang as the guy was trying to pick up the mic haha.
good times. 40 on alcohol, not bad. ghent if i would have saw you i would have brought you some beers. they dont keep track of that shit at all there man. we should have arranged shit.
lol dude I had like 7 beers and had to piss constantly. That part sucked real bad. And yeah it's hard to tell if Mark is pissed, annoyed, or just keeping control of Tom so things don't get out of hand. Tom is way more crazy than he used to be on stage and that says A LOT.

haha yeah Reefer I was keeping my eye out for you too. The pit was just retarded for the first four songs or so though. I had to take refuge farther back so I could actually enjoy the songs without sweaty douche bags trying to be cool all over me.
One guy was driving his elbows into my back and it pissed me off so I turned around and elbowed him as hard as I could in the chest. Didn't realize the guy weighed about 100 pounds more than me. He got really pissed and screamed "I WAS JUST TRYING TO KEEP PEOPLE OFF OF US MAN! I WAS TRYING TO HELP". I ignored him completely and it pissed him off more so he got all over my shit and started to PINCH MY BACK. I was like 'fuck this shit' and moved away before I got in a fight and completely ruined the show.
And yeah the security there was like a fucking assembly line of checking everything on your body.
Anyone else catch when Mark dropped his mic during GATC and got on the ground and sung the chorus into the mic there. Or when they totally fucked up the bridge to Not Now because they were fucking with each other and had to announce that they messed up and started it over?
It totally reminded me of why I love blink. So much fun, such an awesome show...Even if it was a train wreck both on and off the stage!

There was a lot of pushing forward, to the point that everyone in the front was falling on the ground and getting trampled. They had to stop the show and pick all the fallen people up that were being stood on.
I have a feeling we got both the wildest and the worst show on the tour so far. lol

Show was even better than I expected. I have so many thoughts about it, it's impossible to type it all up right now. Just an amazing experience. Can't wait to do it again at a better venue in 3 weeks.
Strangest place ever for a concert btw. Smelled like cow shit, traffic directed on horseback, 1960's tractor for sale a mile down the road, longhorn ranch across the street, lol. It was interesting. Really beautiful area though.
Sucks that the show had to be stopped for 15 minutes because the crowd was so crazy (I was down there at that time). Took a few songs to regain the momentum from that stop. And we also lost the Travis solo because of it.

hey oliver, how early did you go to stand in the front...Did you have to camp the spot all day or what?
It was not a general admission show. Meaning you sat in the seat your ticket said regardless of when you got there. I got a decent seat because I bought it at the exact second it went on sale. I didn't show up until later in the day cause I knew my seat was assigned.
If you wanted a close spot in the GA show, I'd say get there at least 4 hours before the doors opened (i notice you have GA tickets)
But the doors open at 2 PM...I don't think I need to be there thaat early. At least I hope!
