That Rolling Stones song with the Sydney Sweeney video was awesome, but I didn't hear anything else off of it. Green Day album is great. No clue on Pearl Jam album but it's Pearl Jam. And a token Dolly Parton?
That's a terrible draw for a realistic blink chance. They should have won it with California.

Rolling Stone betting on blink to get a Grammy nod:
How is it still eligible?? Because of the deluxe?

So I ordered the blink tradings cards a few months ago. Was way overpriced and kind of a joke, but I did it anyway because I’m a big sports card collector.
Waited all this time and they finally showed up yesterday. At least I thought they did. I received an envelope with nothing in it besides a thin piece of cardboard. No receipt, nothing. Just an empty envelope. 🤦♂️

I actually enjoyed Travis’ book quite a bit, but he went out of his way to galvanize the image he wants people to have of him (understandable, but I just happen to find that image cringe in a lot of ways). His personal general audience is different than the average blink fan.
I think this has a chance to be a much deeper and relatable story and should have a lot of stories and random tidbits we haven’t heard.

One Night Stand has no business being kind of a good song, but it is. I like it. It’s Tom with a filter. It’s an AVA song with input. Said it earlier, but it proves what a waste of time and talent the whole AVA experiment was. There was some good stuff here and there, but it was missing the checks and balances an actual band provides.
I’m 100% confident if Tom released that song as a solo/AVA song it would be awful.

Are you people with 10 albums just ranking them in your head rather than using the ranking website thing that this thread was created for?
I saw people not even including Skiba albums so I just ranked them in my head. To not include Skiba albums is as dumb as not including Scott albums

EVERYONE EVERYWHERE OMG!!!!!
noooo they didn’t! (Actually just chill and have a fucking sweet ass guitar bridge for a second and let the song organically build instead of forcing a vocal bridge again and again)
WHAT!! It got better than the snippets!
Fuck. This might just top Neighborhoods for me afterall. It’s close.
It's pretty awesome. Feels slightly unfinished for some reason? But it kicks ass regardless

Buddha is great!
Songwise, not productionwise.
I agree there, I love Buddha, it's just hard to rate it above anything else with a straight face because of the way it sounds. And it has overlap with Cheshire which makes it weird to rate

1. Dude Ranch

3. Enema

5. California

* 2/3 very close. 5/6 could change over time, too soon to tell how OMT ages

Lol 6/8 sucks.
Last Train Home, Good Old Days, Wildfire, Parking Lot, all holding up nicely. Most of the others never were that great and still aren't

That’s okay. Basically saying California Deluxe was basically a bunch of random songs that were half finished ideas, with high highs (Wildfire, Last Train Home imo - Can’t Go Back, One Night Stand, etc) and low lows (Parking Lot, Misery - Take Me In, All In My Head, etc)
where as California was more consistent throughout like an album with a theme, like OMT, but overly long, like OMT.
So they are very parallel. OMT obviously I like better but in terms of structure/parallels they are doing like the same thing. Eleven next?
Agree with all of this except Parking Lot is an awesome song. Just because you lived a powder puff childhood and don't get the reference to Parking Lots doesn't mean the song is bad.

Ok One Night Stand works way better as a full song. This is a perfect example of how/why Tom wasted his time with AVA. This is a HUGE AVA 💩turd💩 if it didn't have Mark and Travis involved. Song is salvaged and actually pretty good.
8/10
If You Never Left- Oh shit, do we have an emerging banger here?
9/10 with room to grow for sure

Take Me In is worse than most of California. Happy @JarJarBlinks @Ghent?
There's no character to it at all outside the little intro (I guess?). I hate, hate these type of songs and they need to stop cluttering up the discog.
Yeah, that's why I said it sounded like a Cali Deluxe song. It's not bad, there's just not much there besides a catchy chorus

Chorus is really catchy on Take Me In, but it doesn't really click with the verses for me? Not sure

Take Me In isn't bad, but throwing major Cali Deluxe vibes. Not sure it will stick beyond a few plays for me. Can see why it didn't make the album
