You can easily make the argument that he took it a step FURTHER than pesky little Feldboy. I also think blink's artistic prowess has always been a bit overrated by fans as they learned how to accept Untitled into the Discography.

Yep exactly. Although blink was a bro band and said gross absurd shit, they were never a "horn dog" band. Which they've started to dabble in at age 50? It makes no sense. There are hardly any old blink songs about thirsting for chicks or fucking, just quick references like "I wanna take off your clothes" My criticism of this started with I Can't Get You More Pregnant. I want them to be funny, inappropriate etc, but this ain't it. It's just awkward. Like I am a horn dog, but I don't need grandpa singing to me about it lmao

The more I think about it, I think it was Mark that created the environment that makes me cringe when he does gross lyrics.. No Fun is emerging as the clear favorite for me. Combines multiple eras of blink/AVA in a cool way. Bonus point for no couch cum lyric as well

They're both good, two more Cali songs with Tom! Love the TOYPAJ sounding riffs. My only gripe is with some of the lyrics. For a board that lost its shit over "Kings of the Weekend" I don't see how you can accept cum stains on the couch, watching porn, and rich girl party lyrics lol

I mean it's a blatant cash grab, par for the course with albums these days. I'm excited to hear some new songs, but I don't consider it overhyped at all. If anything my hype level is pretty low, songs are bound to exceed expectations for me at this point. I just feel like if any of them were like elite or something they'd have been on the album to begin with
