Lol you are clearly reacting based on emotions and a grudge here. I’ve already answered your question a couple weeks ago (strange you are asking it again, maybe you have memory issues), which occurred before trying mushrooms. I think you fundamentally don’t understand how mushrooms work and are just shitposting based on an outdated stigma.
-
You have come a long way young padawan
-
I like how JarJar loved this post but tries to shame me for occasional mushroom use. Guy is all over the place.
-
You have just triggered a Ghent meltdown, he truly loved those movies
-
The mushroom stigma shaming is pretty bizarre in 2024. I use mushrooms 1-2 times a year. Your guys’ alcohol consumption is a bigger red flag in terms of health risks
-
How good are the new Star Wars movies and California tho
-
Oh boy, wrong on both accounts. You should look into research on the medicinal benefits of mushrooms, would probably help you a lot.

I don’t think there’s a correct answer but I think based on commercial success and popularity during their primes. Sum 41 had a 3 album run (AKNF -> Chuck, Half Hour of Power still had Makes No Difference too), Offspring had Smash -> Conspiracy of One. I bet if you check their stream counts, their numbers are generally higher than the bands you’ve listed as well.
-
The people trashing the Offspring also thought California was a “return to form” for Blink and the new Star Wars trilogy were amazing, 9/10 movies. I think this is just a “shitty taste” issue and we can move on
-
Lol. It was (literally) in response to your comment about how generic they appear. The members’ background are actually fairly unique compared to most poppunk bands. Buddy come on now, try a bit

And yet the guy holds a PhD and is a pilot
-
Yeah NFG didn’t have the mainstream appeal to be on there imo.
-
Agreed, pretty apt analogy in terms of their arcs. Both probably deserve a spot on the pop punk Mt Rushmore.
-
The Offspring hate here is strange. I can get behind disliking their newer material, but albums like Smash are solid skate punk. I think one of their members (guitarist?) was their highschool janitor and joined the band which is an awesome origin story.

Limp Bizkit was huge where I live. Such a hallmark of that era of rock with bands like Korn.

Re-Arranged has a dope bass line

NHL Hitz 2002. Pepperidge farm remembers

Poor guy. He’s got plenty of experience with the “stroke” part but maybe not so much the heat

The Official Gaslight Anthem thread
Fun, Catchy Pop-Punk replied to Fun, Catchy Pop-Punk's topic in Other Bands
They’re apparently dropping an EP this Friday that is just Positive Charge, History Books, a live performance of Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts, and a cover of Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish. -
I give it 10 days

The backing tracks are fine for the instruments they don’t play (synth, piano, etc). I am not a huge fan of them for the guitar parts, particularly when it’s the only guitar playing as Tom is not strumming but you still hear it. Ideally Tom would just use a loop pedal to have one playing while he plays the riffs on parts that involve multiple guitars. I think everyone is correct here. In most aspects, the band is the best they’ve been (getting along well, writing solid new material, taking live performances seriously and not getting hammered beforehand, etc.), but I totally get the backing tracks issue as they sound less authentic live and their fast playing, consistent fuck ups was one of their endearing qualities during their prime imo.

How much did you love the cumfetti though?
