  1. You’re the one fucking hyping Saviors like it’s Abbey Road.
  2. Your like the See You of posters.
  3. You're incorrect.
  4. Dude, you're just wrong and obsessed with dying on this embarrassing over the hill band hill. I'm pretty harsh on OMT and everything blink has done since Hoods. Doesn't change the fact Green Day is extremely cringe and mediocre for an even longer time. I actually liked Saviors, personally. Better than Revolution Radio, Father of all, uno dos and whatever else other shit they've done. Better than Cali/Nine will give you that.
  5. What's your hard on with Green Day? They haven't done anything good since American Idiot. Mid-band since then. Very good prime tho! Loved Dookie-AI. Washed as fuck though, that's non debatable and not open for interpretation.
  6. No I'm speaking for society. I liked Saviors, but no one actually gave a shit about it. Every single person and their grandmother was excited for blink reuniting back with Tom.
  7. Melting down over not getting Grammy recognition just shows how far Blink fans have fallen edit: way more impactful than Saviors and California though just shows it’s pay to win? Feldy probably had something to do with it. Now they keep their overhead low
  8. Oh no, now that you all put it that way let me change my mind, Not, it's called a musical opinion. Cry about it. DWM is vastly overrated. Way too many flaws with the jammed chorus and weird transitions with Travis being the world's most obnoxious producer since Feldy.
  9. Majority Neighborhoods, most DED, most OMT pt 2, Turpentine, Anthem 3, Otherside, YDKWYG, MTYK > DWM
  10. The guy is literally so proud of his neck beard that he shaped it.
  11. Eww they have other longer songs not on AI? god damn they jumped shark
  12. Because they’re 9 minutes? I like them too, but sometimes I prefer my pop punk songs not to be 9 minutes long this ain’t Iron Maiden.
  13. I'm confused at Jerry Finn's involvement with Green Day. Did he just help Rob Cavallo or was he the head on any albums more like he was with Blink? Did they mix and match producers/mixing/engineering or something?
  14. American Idiot - good for the time, obviously, but overplayed so not rating, 7/10 Jesus of Suburbia - excellent, don't feel like listening it anymore though 8.3/10 Holiday - good song, might be my favorite on relisten, overplayed it back in the day 8.5/10 Blvd - it's pretty good, boring chorus "wore calogne" line doesn't fit much here 7/10 Are We The Waiting - don't like this one never did, 6/10 - St. Jimmy - used to love this song, just pretty good now, 7/10 Novacaine - I like it, flows well to next song, 7.5/10 - She's A Rebel - From Chicago, To Toronto! - 8.5/10 Extraordinary Girl - I do kind of like the mood it sets for the back half, 8/10 - Letterbomb - Where have all..the bastards gone? 9.2/10 September Ends - ehhh, 6.5/10 Homecoming - 9/10 Whatsername - I like this one personally, 8.5/10 I mean upon relisten, this album is really well put together, I forgot how massive it 'felt'. more so than any of their other albums where you pay attention to the ordering and everything. I'm not against calling it a masterpiece. The early songs aren't as good, but there's no filler. It's definitely there most "polished", which I don't love these days but can appreciate it for what it is.
  15. I was just going to type this. Those songs are so low key top notch. I need to revisit this, since I see people admire it often, I just thought it was beyond boring garbage both times I tried it in the past. Doesn't help they just completely fell off and ran out of material then or after to clutter it.
  16. Around She’s A Rebel (underrated) on is what I go back and listen to. Skip September though.
  17. It’s a great album But I like songs on their older albums better. one of my favorite experiences getting this album, I remember having to go to a book store to get it because it was sold out everywhere. It’s definitely their Untitled. Jesus of Suburbia was so mega at the time. The transitioning between songs is cool, I think it’s a bit too serious for my liking in retrospect, like my teenage emotions are gone. They definitely have not existed to me since then, nothing since was anything special and I won’t be convinced otherwise
  18. Friendly reminder Offspring still sucks.
  19. Take the ferry to Milwaukee. Best cheese and beer in the country and an hour drive for me
  20. We came close twice. One for the concert Oliver ruined so took the wind out of everyone’s sails (Chicago) and the other time I tried freaking him out in Michigan by filming him for the boards. I think it was meant to wait so we’d both be alive to tell the story. I also invited him to a beach once but he was too stoned (I believe)
  21. I was gonna say, I was even speaking some Fap language with the mesa boogie remarks.
  22. You spent more time loading up your shitty dial up internet in your moms basement to post this instead of reading it.
  23. Yeah unfortunately it's like the better version of Nine to me in terms of listenability, songs are very good sometimes great, Tom is back (for most part), Mark is back (for most part), Travis kind of sucks but it's whatever. But the production holds it back from feeling like real music. Heavy on effects, heavy on vocal touch ups, legit hip hop/electronic elements & effects throughout. Guitars sound good but a trained ear can hear it's an emulated effect not Tom's mesa boogie. I can't have that in my blink unless it's in small doses. I'd rather listen to depressing Neighborhoods/DED if I want to actually listen to real music. I'll put on OMT/Pt 2 for the initial drop memories and if I'm going to the gym or something and don't need to take it too serious. Still one of the best times of my life was the anticipation and initial drop date and 1,000 better than Cali/Nine and could be way worse. Travis needs to get canned from the studio though.
  24. 0 plays my little angelic child.
