  1. You mean like vocal bridges? Because the "breakdowns" you refer to are bridges, they just lack vocals, at the same time had they added vocal bridges to all the songs you listed I feel It would have gotten old, I'm not saying you are wrong, I agree but only about half, I feel that some of those songs deserved an intrumental "bridge" to the songs. I also agree, that at least vocally, they could have done more with a couple of bridges. I also feel weird using the word "breakdown" with blink182 haha..
  2. Damn my autocorrect is a cunt, that last line should say, " I would love Austin vs. Punk."
  3. Mitchy, How can Austin come back and take down laurinitis, and then feud with CM punk? That is a common goal for both parties. One of them would have to turn heel, or be made heel by the crowd like Rock and Cena, but if Stone Cold came back, punk would be heel automatically because of SC's prestige, just like Cena was heel with the rock, and yes I do understand that Cena was not favorable totally before that match but some of the rock fans were WWE vets, and by that I mean old viewers the gave up and came back cause an old Attitude superstar was coming back. How can this happen, I am thinking, and trying to have some ideas. I would lose an Austin vs. spunk Wrestlemania so how can this happen?
  4. This new stuff, isn't going to change, they spent like 4 years apart and they changed, but what we get is what we get. I am glad blink is back and I would pay to see them in my town anytime. I would pay MORE to see the pop disaster blink but it isn't going to happen. This thread is cool cause it shows old blink shows and the way things used to be, but the blink of now isn't going to change and I like them just like I liked the old blink, but the old blink is my fav.
  5. This song is great, it has a great hook and it is somewhat mellow to some of their "harder", faster stuff, but I like it. It is a great step in their careers, in my opinion, at leat until I can hear the album, Commit This to Memory, is their masterpiece, I don't think they will ever top that album, but their last two have been "meh" to me, this sounds great and it has a great, catchy hook and hopefully, this will be some more of the motion city that I love.
  6. The only person that should break the streak is Kane, and especially since he is masked again. Another thing, is I don't understand the hype behind Lesnar. The guy WAS huge and he was great, in the ring. Lesnar is boring on the mic IMO, but at the same time he is fat now. He has the bulky UFC heavyweight build. He may be big, but he is just bulk, fat and muscle. He is a larger shadow of his old self IMO. I just don't see what the big deal is with this guy? He came in with Heyman last time, and maybe wrestling sucked so bad he was the big deal but the guy is nothing but size, which is just bulky fat now, at least from what I saw on RAW. I didn't like the guy 6 or 7 years ago and I don't like him now. I know he has his fans and that's cool, im not attacking anyone I just don't get the hype with Lesnar?
  7. I'm sick of the rock saying, "insert shit catchphrase" is trending. The "boots to asses" was the only good one. It just further exhibits how commercial he is and that isn't what wrestling should be about. I do understand that the WWE has been commercial whores for sometime, but it just pisses me off that the rock brings nothing of the attitude era, or the old style to the table. He has acclimated just like the rest, they are marketing this match as this era vs. the last era essentially but they are both from the same era because of the bullshit they do and say. I want to see the rock vs. cena, but the rock isn't the rock in my opinion anymore, he is just a John cena that the crowd cheers the fuck out of.
  8. That is the case until someone wins it that is RAW material. Which wont happen, it has become the ECW title, and I love it. Make everyone compete for one belt and it will make the business better. The one thing the WWE lacks is mid card storylines. If they put that into place it will be better like old times.
  9. Man, a Sufjan fan? That is awesome, I like and find this to be one of the saddest songs I have ever heard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0Q0ygyiyV0# It may not be sad but I love this cover, It is Seth Avett of the Avett Brothers playing Elliott Smith's Angeles, his voice is so mournful thats what made me think of it: the John Wayne Gacy Jr. song is one of the saddest and best songs I have ever heard, Sufjan is a genius.
  10. I agree. This is why I don't think Cena will be champ. I think they will keep the belt with Del Rio after Vegence, but I can't see him holding it for to much longer after that. He is just to boring! I'm thinking Punk or even Sheamus will end up with it sooner or later.... I like this, and to be honest I see them giving the belt to Sheamus for a face title run, but that also leaves CM punk. I have no fuckin idea what they are going to do with Punk, which I like but at the same time hope they don't fuck up. Punk needs the title for real. I want to keep the Punk and Sheamus face shit going till after Wrestlemania, then have Cena face either one of them and go heel. Actually, the way it is now if the company wants Punk heel the crowd will cheer him face, so Punk is face no matter what. I like what they have done with Sheamus, and as a Cena fan I used to say, "How can they make him do this shit with Make a Wish and blah blah blah while he is heel." Anyone remember the Sheamus promos against bullying in the B a Star shit and even seeing him in the Make a Wish stuff a while ago?, Cena can do it, and as a fan of his, he needs to. Once Cena goes Heel, EVERYONE will cheer for him because he is heel, just because he is heel.
  11. no you are are 100% Punk is best on the mic in the business hands down.
  12. i'm sorry, but again I have to talk about how I can't hate Cena. I watched the guy from the get-go and as everyone knows I am a Cena fan, I'm not 12 or anything but I understand why they like him and they should. Has Cena been run into the ground? Absolutely, for two years now, hell even Austin transitioned about 3 or 4 years into his run. As a Cena fan, I am waiting on a heel turn because I know he can do it and excel in the business the way he has, but I want to see him be bad, fuck if they have to bring back the Cena that was a gangsta, bring him the fuck back and give him a mic, he will own. The kids will hate him, but "the kids" don't know about wrestling. I don't know if you guys have seen but no one has mentioned anything about the WWE getting their own network on cable or whatever, maybe when they have their own network they can do what they want, which is what all following WWF fans hope for.
  13. also, on a separate tangent, i am really impressed with Travis's drumming, in some songs its almost like its the prominent track but either way, it's nice to hear some NEW Travis and not covers of rap songs. His fills in this album are amazing and really bring it all together, of course did anyone expect anything different of Travis? No, they didn't, it's just nice to hear.
  14. in response to alot of the reviews of the use of synth I heard it the first time and immediately thought AVA but the more i listened the synth in some songs is remniscient of The Cure. I get that influence in this album quite a bit, hope I'm not speaking out of my ass but at least right now I can see the influence now really clear
