  1. Hey guys! Just started a new band, we are called "Moving Brooklyn" We play rock, somewhere along the lines of Terrible Things, Spitalfield, and Northstar. We're from Connecticut and just posted our facebook today. If you could take a couple of minutes and check it out, that would be great! http://facebook.com/MovingBrooklyn P.S. If you like what you hear you can also download one of our songs for free called "Anything At All" right here. http://movingbrooklyn.bandcamp.com Thanks! -Paul
  2. were you happy with the triple rec? I ordered mine a month ago, should be in by the end of the year!
  3. you can mic guitar amps with a line 6 toneport, i record my demos on it all the time for mics, i use a sennheiser e609 for guitar amps, but you can also use a shure sm57. If your doing rough demos, garageband is solid for that kinda stuff, comes with macs, i just plug my line 6 toneport into the mac and record with garageband
  4. Your idiocy amazes me. Yes, it's a shorter scale length, and if you're using 9's, then yeah, the strings could be loose feeling. But they have this thing known as BIGGER STRING SETS. what the fuck is yout problem, asshole? its TRUE even if you put 12s on a 24" scale length guitar, they are still loose. it was necessary to insult me? even if you disagre, theres no need for that shit. They actually won't feel that loose. Here's a website that has a string tension chart: http://www.pacificsites.net/~dog/StringTensionApplet.html 24" Scale - 12 Gauge String Set: e - .012 - 20.69 lbs B - .016 - 20.64 lbs G - .020 - 20.32 lbs D - .032 - 27.04 lbs A - .042 - 26.52 lbs E - .054 - 23.97 lbs 25.5" Scale - 10 Gauge Strings e - .010 - 16.21 lbs B - .013 - 15.38 lbs G - .017 - 16.57 lbs D - .026 - 19.81 lbs A - .036 - 21.87 lbs E - .046 - 19.91 lbs Therefore, a set of 12's on a guitar with 24" Scale has more string tension than a set of 10's on a 25.5" Scale. Good Day sir. OWNED
  5. How does it sound with the EMGS? I was thinking about using a EMG for the neck pickup. Sounds great for rock and distortion, not too good for clean, i use my strat for clean stuff. I personally like the EMG 81's.
  6. i love my epiphone les paul custom with emg 81's, my favorite guitar ive picked up yet
  7. i like d'addario exp's, they sound great, and they dont break, especially if you are playing a lot of shows.
  8. obviously people think that maybe when he is sober and listens to the record he will change his mind or something
  9. i dont know but i thought that kinda seems like a bad date for the release of it but they are trying to change the world
  10. dude like i said, we were on a second stage that local bands were playing on
  11. november 21st, 2006 at the webster theatre in hartford, connecticut. It was during their tour with envy on the coast and the sounds. The venue has 2 stages with local bands playing on the 2nd stage before ava went on , and we played on the second stage.
  12. i dont believe half of those after giving you guys a listen. and no, standing outside a bands venue, playing guitars while waiting to get in, does not count as opening for them. thats fine dude you can tell yourself i didnt open for them, but if you look at the photos there are pictures from some of those shows.... what a douche
  13. ^ i like my les paul, for some reason i just like the heavier body of a les paul
