IDK how people defend the era tbf. Tour with Lil Wayne (that he seemed to hate) features with Steve Aoiki. Don't think I even listened to that more than once. Why did they rely on outside influences when they had some of the best lyricists/songwriters in pop-punk? Mark and Matt. Guys that could tap into their darkness. Write huge and memorable choruses. It didn't work. Skiba is a beast. He was basically castrated in this era. By the end of it , they were writing songs entirely without him. Don't get how people see it any other way. It's the way the people that created it see it.

OMT works as a closer when you're there (not trying to be one of those cunts that FLEX) but you get caught up in the emotion. That tune is their mission statement, it really works and kind of leaves a bittersweet feeling. I bet they probably go back to Dammit as a closer on other tours
