i watched a few videos of them as a five piece. they really just need to part ways with Tom Thacker. he's awkwardly shoved off to the side of the stage with nothing to do. Dave is playing all of the leads, considering he wrote them and is much better at playing them. so, tom's presence is pointless. especially if deryck is continuing to play rhythm. i don't think it will be long until he quits. no sum 41 fans really ever gave a shit about him as a member and constantly wanted Dave back anyway. he should focus on Gob

Sup guyz. Even though this is the non-spoiler thread I've been avoiding it since yesterday. Just wanted to stop by and share a little article I wrote about why I think seeing The Force Awakens is going to be a weird experience. Oh yeah, he's definitely a try hard, acting all sophisticated and shit cause he thinks that's what's cool when he's actually a totally different person...almost like a child really However I do believe there's an element of him not understanding Blink at all, we've all heard his "nostalgia" and "celebration" bullshit. It's almost as if he think Blink fans need a dick joke every 15 mins or there will be mutiny and uproar so he best throw them in wherever possible.

Having spent the day rewatching blinks first 2 shows with Skiba (instead of working) I have the following thoughts to share for no reason in particular. 1) Skiba is awesome, it's so nice to hear someone sing the songs rather than slur and screech, and play them with a decent guitar tone. 2) Skiba is also incredibly talented as he somehow manages to sing Tom's parts without doing a "Tom voice", something which I and many others find impossible. 3) if theres one very minor concern i have its that I hope that Mark and Matt can build some notable stage chemistry over time, I can't imagine them ripping on each other and having quite the same back and forth nature as Tom and Mark did. We all know the situation of you're nice to an acquaintance yet horrible as fuck to your best friend because you both "get each other". 4) Tom constantly strives to be a more serious artist and made it clear old toilet humour, immature Blink is not him anymore. Yet he continued to change the lyrics to Always, one of their most serious hits, to ones regarding incestuous handjobs. The fucks up with that. There.
