I just found out about this the other day, I love zombies so I'm sure I'll dig this. Hahaha same here man. Basically, if I know the world is going to end and we're all fucked, it would be cool to go down swinging and put up a resistance against the massive groups of zombies. The first thing I would do is grab my axe and then try and find some guns

Pretty sure it's just to show the medals (double kill, killing spree, etc) and the scoring (head shots are worth more, extra points for medals). It creates a bit of a competitive vibe if you play on co-op, seeing who gains the most points.

My view on the band seems so different than most people here. They are my favorite band because they match and surpass my expectations for everything they do (I assume most people feel the same way). However, in keeping that title as my favorite band, they have set the bar high and I will be very critical and judgemental of their new material because my expectations are so high. Although I have never been disappointed in the past, I won't simply love it because it's new Blink material, unless it sounds like the Blink we all know and love....which is very likely

BEST Box Car Racer song Round 1! Vote least favourite

Lol those fans ended up getting front row seats right after. Well I think they were already front row, but I'm glad to hear they weren't kicked out. Nah, they were like 2-3rd row before, they got moved up a bit. And apparently BMO had a huge start last year but fizzled off in the second half of the season with Washington. Don't count your chickens before they hatch

^Yeah, but some of those goals were fairly nice and without Hamhuis, Ballard, and Salo, our defence is looking a bit soft. But Rypien, wtf dude?!

I hated their last album as well, so this isn't really a surprise to me. They have progressively gotten worse over the last few albums due to mainstream appeal, in my opinion.

Anyone heard much about Vanquish? Just got an 8.5/10 from IGN and a 9/10 from GameSpot, sounds pretty sick. http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/vanquish/review.html?tag=topslot;thumb;1

I haven't watched any of this season yet, but I plan on catching up soon! Any more Canuck references?

Fake Problems w/ Brian Fallon cover Dammit
Meltdown Tracker replied to Meltdown Tracker's topic in Blink 182
The set up was pretty awful, but it wasn't a great performance regardless. I do think that Fake Problems will become pretty big though, they seem like a band that this forum will love in a few years. I saw them the next night and they sounded much better, the guitarist is actually pretty sick. -
Awesome, with one shit episode lol, but awesome all the same. I didnt think it was as good as season 2. But still, thrilling. let me guess that episode you disliked was "Fly" totally. i guess there was a reason for it being...slow? you know, i just skimmed through the episode. its not that bad, just different. I was so burnt out when I saw that episode, it was brutal. Very excited for this show to start up though, it's only gotten better and better in my opinion.

Canucks haven't been any better, wtf is up with our secondary scoring. I can only believe that the absence of Burrows will hinder the team so much, but this is ridiculous.

Make a superband involving Hoppus and Barker.
Meltdown Tracker replied to Meltdown Tracker's topic in Blink 182
If AvA is going to be as dominant as it was post-North American tour, Mark and Travis will have plenty of free time. I know Mark will be busy with his show, but there may still be time for a band as well. You don't have to make a three piece band, it can consist of however many people you want. AvA was dominant after the Blink tour because they were already working on their new album and that stupid movie that they claim to be finally finished. Honestly, I expect that new AvA movie to come out, bomb terribly, them do one last tour in Europe, and be done for a while. I don't think there's going to be much time for anything when their first album in 8 years finally comes out. I hope, for everyone's sake, that you're right. -
I had never heard this cover until today, love it:

The Official Gaslight Anthem thread

Cool dude, you guys both look soaked haha. Also, the Spirit of Jazz will be the next single being released on November 8th. Fuck yeah. -
Completely hypothetical situation, but fuck it. Let's say that Tom wants to do an AvA album between every Blink album, and tour that album. That leaves a huge void for Mark and Travis to spend doing something else. +44 seems like it's done with now, so let's make a supergroup. I would love to see a band consisting of Tim Armstrong, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker. It makes some sense because of the relationship between Tim and Travis in The Transplants and Boxcar Racer. Would definitely be interesting to hear this trio. Another one, which is FAR less likely, is Robert Smith joining Mark and Travis. That would be unbelievably badass, but to my knowledge he does not play guitar, so there would be another opening for someone else. I only made this connection because Robert Smith had a bit of involvement with Blink in All Of This (playing it live with them once too), and that Mark has always been a huge Cure fan. Very doubtful, but it would have a unique sound for sure. If the new Sum 41 album bombs (which is likely) maybe see Deryk with Mark and Travis, that would be pretty interesting as well. Throw in Brown Sound and we're set.

I think it will definately NOT sound like plus 44 I really do think it will be a 'continuation' of the last album I've been listening to the (+44) album a lot lately and I think there will be aspects of it that will be prevalent in the new Blink album. I'm pretty sure it's being co-produced by DeLonge and Hoppus, right? And Hoppus produced the (+44) album. Things that I think will return are the electro influences on (+44). Examples would be the outro to Make You Smile, and the intros to Baby, Come On and 155. I think that style would go well with the evolution of Blink.
