Guest xstreamblu Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 What pickup(s) did he have? That guitar was pretty tight Quote
Chinomaster182 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I think it was the same as the other TD sigs, a SD Invader, it was just black with a racing stripe. Quote
Blinkone82dude Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 i'm fairly certain he had an invader in the 335 Quote

Chinomaster182 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 That does look like an invader, its not stock anyways. Quote
Chinomaster182 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Insanely muddy high output pickups. And yeah, Tom re-released the Dirty Fingers with his sig. Quote
ChrisisHere Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Lol. I laughed so hard at the I feel So Gay Sticker. Since it made me think about the song I feel so and wat it would of been like if that line was in there. Quote
mostdope182 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 what's in the neck position? Stock pickup. Quote
Guest xstreamblu Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Is there a way to get a 335 stock pickup, and put it in my dot studio as well as some invader pickups? that would be pretty gnarly Quote

Guest xstreamblu Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 those are soo cheap. too bad im having car problems, cell phone problems, etc. jeeze, only 16 and i'm already in fucking debt...then again, every american is $25,000 in debt or somethin like that, thanks to the US's national debt, which is increasing by thousands every second, but all that is beside the point. ill go ahead and buy this baby Quote
Chinomaster182 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Its really really muddy and high output though, it works nice for punk but thats about it, it sound shit clean. Try it out before you buy it. Quote

But maybe in a few years you discover something else and you hate those muddy clean horrible tones, have you thought not all blink is distorted? Intro to STFTK, parts of Adams Song, Intro to whats my age again and im sure theres much more if you think about it. Best of all theres plenty of pickups that can handle distortion and clean anyways, the seymour duncan JB is the most versatile but theres also the Seymour Duncan distortion is quite nice although it focuses more on distortion obviously, you can go to seymourduncan.com and try clips of all the different pickups.
