  1. kevin, you must not have watched the same movie as everyone else, either that or you totally got owned by the ending.
  2. seriously, this is my favorite delay of all time, with the exception of an actual tape echo. it probably wouldn't work out too well for most of you guys here, just cause the delay time is pretty limited at 300ms, but i've pretty much come to terms with the fact that i'll never need more than that. also, it's sexy as hell. i'm stoked, cause i seriously haven't bought a pedal in forever, just cause there hasn't been anything i've really wanted. i'm thinking about getting rid of my fulldrive 2 and getting a way huge angry troll. i'm becoming too much of a way huge fanboy, haha.
  3. i ordered the way huge aqua puss ri last week, work called me saying it was in yesterday, but i didn't go get it. i'm working today though, so i'm gonna pick it up and take it to practice after work. i'm stoked.[/ceter]
  4. this is my current live rig(left side of the stage) it's a '62 avri jazzmaster -> way huge pork loin -> fulltone fulldrive 2 with mosfet -> '63 reverb unit ri -> '65 fender super reverb ri i have a tu2, that stays on top of the amp cause the tone suckage, but i'm gonna replace it with the tc electronics polytune once those ship out.
  5. it uses a midi cable to connect to the amp, so it'll only work with amps that have midi-in jacks. and very possibly only peavy's midi jacks, depending on the amount of pins.
  6. Not to rain on your parade, but a couple months ago I bought a 1965 Duo-Sonic II all original for $100, kind of a better deal. Turned around and sold it for $400, could've sold it for more, but I wasn't bonding with it and decided to sell it quick. Anyways, carry on with your thread.
  7. my guess is just a delay. a dl4, perhaps? for the intro though, i'm like 76% sure it's just a reverse with the swell on.
  8. i haven't watched the episode since i dled it a few weeks ago. but if i recall correctly, he had the body in the trashbags ready to be dumped, but they were in the trunk cause he had to go the pharmacy first.
  9. first episode was totally amazing and it finally brought a situation to light that i've always been curious about how dexter would get out of it. just when i think it can't get any better, it does.
  10. i really hope you were being sarcastic, cause that shit was fucking clown shoes.
  11. can't wait, jon lithgow is gonna be awesome as the trinity killer. also agent lundy from season 2 is back.
  12. then you must not know shit about selling gear to a RETAILER. obviously you're not gonna get as much as you paid for it, cause we're gonna turn it around and sell it. there's nothing more pathetic then people bringing in their their low end ibanez's that they paid $400 for and they expect $300, it's just realistic. it's not bullshit since you were expecting an unrealistic number. also i'm surprised they quoted you anything, i look at the person first and if they look young i ask to see a driver's license, cause you have to be 18 and i'm not gonna waste my time quoting you a price on something that i can't even buy from you.
  13. that cover of "american girl" wasn't very good. sounded super empty for having 2 guitar players. also, i saw tom petty last year and nothing can top when they play it, sorry.
  14. phosphor bronze keep their tone longer, but i personally think 80/20's sound better.
  15. i'd go with the .13's just to be safe. also, go for the 80/20's.
  16. definitely not, cause those are twins, not deluxes.
  17. wow, just wow. they're twin reverbs. why, with all the money he has, would you think he'd be using solid state amps?
  18. sucks you had a shitty experience at 1 guitar center out of over 200, doesn't mean we're all like that. you need to realize though, you had a $1700 PEAVEY, not a GIBSON or a FENDER, which definitely could fetch more money. i've had customers bring in similarly priced deans and i can't offer them squat, cause again it was a DEAN. also one thing to note, we are not allowed under any circumstances to pay more for a used item than we buy a new one for from the manufacturer. so that's also one thing to take into consideration. all in all, as i tell the customers that come in with used equipment: don't sell your used items to guitar center. if you absolutely have to get rid of it today, yes i will buy it. but if you can spend some time shopping it around, you will definitely get more money on ebay, craigslist or anything like that.
  19. first off, what cab is it, what's the condition and how much do you want for it? second, we don't do consignment. never have, never will. and for the people who said "they offer a shitty amount," i'm sorry you wanted $90 for your squier bullet and we said no. you need to realize selling it to a store you're not gonna get what you want for it. cause what you're gonna be selling it for yourself, say $500(i'm just pulling a number out of the air), is what we're gonna sell it for and we obviously can't give you that much. hope that helped and if you have any other questions feel free to pm me.
