  1. I haven't posted on the boards in so long, but i figured in loue of the new album leaking i figured now would be a good time. I haven't read too much of this thread, but in the first few pages people were bashing Fighting the Gravity. I think its easily the best song. I can hear all different influences; it reminds me of weatherman, fallen interlude, self-titled's dive into the experimental (in blink's way), with a little boxcar and ava. And one of the high points in the song are the lyrics and vocal melodies. I wish mark was on the album more... Travis's drums on this song are SICK. all his crazy fills towards the end of the song are some of the freshest from him since self titled, i think.
  2. the first bunch of times i listened to Up All Night, i felt like that main riff was familiar, and I found why: 3:20 I don't know if it was posted before, 40 pages is way to much to look through
  3. Mister Heavenly is Nick Diamonds (Islands/Unicorns), Honus Honus (Man Man), Joe Plummer (Modest Mouse), and Michael Cera. They are playing at NX35, a festival in Denton Tx and I might get to meet Michael Cera! Anyway, their music is pretty cool imo. http://stereogum.com/618172/mister-heavenly-mister-heavenlypineapple-girl-2/mp3s/

  5. I take back what I said earlier about liking it better than Plastic Beach. I still like it a lot but there are far too many instrumental songs and short songs and there is a depressing lack of guest artists.
